Hanakappa tells the everyday stories of the Hanakappa family—a family of kappa who have flowers blooming on their heads instead of dishes—and their friends.

Hanakappa Drawing SongHarasayuri

In the second season, which aired from 2011 to 2012, the ending theme was a drawing song about how to draw Hanakappa’s face.

A Hanakappa drawing song also appeared in the original picture book, but its lyrics are a bit different from this version.

By the way, the singer Harasa Yuri also worked as a voice actor on the show, providing the narration and playing Yamanofuji’s mother.
