Will You Still Love Me?CHICAGO

Included on the 1986 album “Chicago 18.” A rock band from Chicago formed in 1967.
This is a single cut from the first album released after Peter Cetera’s departure.
The sweet vocals singing of his love for her are wonderful, and the ensemble with the chorus is beautiful as well.
SomedayGlass Tiger

Included on the 1986 album The Thin Red Line.
A five-piece rock band from Canada formed in 1983.
In Japan, they were introduced as the younger counterpart to fellow Canadian Bryan Adams.
Although it’s a slow, mellow ballad, the solid drum and bass rhythms, conversely, bring out the sweetness of the vocals, resulting in a nicely polished track.
If You Don’t Know Me By NowSimply Red

Included on the 1989 album “A New Flame.” The band was formed in Manchester in 1985 and has since largely become a solo project for vocalist Mick Hucknall.
This song is a cover of a single released in 1972 by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.
True ColorsCyndi Lauper

The title track from the 1986 album True Colors.
Born in 1953, a New York–born musician.
Set against the gentle tones of strings and percussion, her distinctive voice pierces the ears as she sings that the colors you possess are beautiful.
