It is the second official city song and was established in 1951.

This tune is used as the time signal at Sannomiya Station in Chuo Ward, Kobe, as well as at all stations on the Kobe Municipal Subway Kaigan Line.

Hanshin Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, is known as the home of the Hanshin Tigers, and this song is the team’s anthem.

Commonly called “Rokko Oroshi,” it is the oldest team song among the clubs currently belonging to Nippon Professional Baseball.
