They gained attention by appearing on the talent show “You’re A Star,” where they finished in second place.
In 2012, they changed their band name to Kodaline.

It consists of twin sisters Ellie and Louise Macnamara.

Formed in 1977—a year that could be called the most important in punk history—their timeless classic debut album Inflammable Material, released in 1979, was a smash hit, reaching No.
14 on the UK Albums Chart.
Thanks to their sound and their radical, aggressive lyrics, they were dubbed the Irish version of The Clash.
Although they disbanded once in 1982, they restarted in 1987, releasing albums, touring, and even performing in Japan.
Their 2014 album No Going Back hit No.
1 on the BBC Rock Album Chart, a testament to their enduring popularity.
