Jamiroquai’s Greatest and Most Popular Songs (11–20)
ButterflyJamiroquai

It’s become a wonderfully atmospheric song.
It has a vibe like being in another world, and the part where Jamiroquai sings “Butterfly~” is really great.
I especially feel like it’s a song I want to listen to when I’m relaxing at night.
When I close my eyes and listen, a vividly colored landscape spreads out like butterfly wings.
That’s how comfortable and pleasant it is to listen to.
FallingJamiroquai

As the title “Feeling” suggests, it’s a pleasantly soothing track that makes you want to connect with someone on the same wavelength.
It’s the kind of song you’d want to listen to while chatting with friends, having a drink, and taking it easy.
RunawayJamiroquai

It’s a single from the 2006 greatest hits compilation album High Times: Singles 1992–2006, and it reached No.
1 on the U.
S.
Dance Chart.
The music video opens with Jay Kay in a spacesuit climbing the stairs of the London Underground at Piccadilly Circus, and the lyrics express a desire to be free right now and to escape, conveyed through uniquely striking visuals.
SmileJamiroquai

It has a calm, relaxed tempo.
With a title like “Smile,” I imagined something brighter, but when I actually listened, it was a gentle song with a pleasant, unhurried beat.
It feels like the kind of laid-back track I’d want to hear when I wake up in the morning.
The word “smile” comes up again and again, and it naturally lifts my mood.
It’s easy to listen to and a really nice song.
If I Like It, I Do ItJamiroquai

They debuted in 1993 with Emergency on Planet Earth.
They are one of the most successful bands of the acid jazz movement.
Currently, Jason Kay is the only original member remaining from the first album.
Slipin’n’Slidin’Jamiroquai

It’s a very stylish, rhythmic track, so it’s one of my favorites.
There’s no Jamiroquai vocals in this one at all—it’s purely instrumental.
Because of that it can feel a bit lacking, but the groove is so good that it’s easy to just let it play and enjoy it.
The sound is so distinctly Jamiroquai that you can immediately tell it’s them even without the vocals.
I think it’s nice to have tracks like this once in a while.
Jamiroquai’s Classic and Popular Songs (21–30)
Canned HeatJamiroquai

It’s a single from the album Synkronized, released in 1999.
The music video is nostalgic for Jay Kay’s beanie, adidas tracksuit, and sneaker style, and it’s striking how he pops up like a little sprite in various spaces, dancing innocently.
It’s an exciting dance number with wonderful string arrangements—one that makes you feel it’s undeniable how Jamiroquai’s music and visuals of the time had a major impact on UK club music and culture.
