It’s a bittersweet yet heartwarming story that likens a beloved person to cherry blossoms in full bloom.

danceGuiano feat. RIM

A refreshing spring song that gently gives a nudge to those anxious about the future! It’s a collaboration between singer-songwriter Guiano and virtual singer Rime.
As we welcome spring—a season of meetings and partings—many of us have felt uneasy about stepping into a new stage.
This song kindly sends us off, saying, “Everyone feels anxious,” and “Carry the memories you made with your friends in your heart and move forward as yourself.” Lift your head and take that first step as you listen!

parabolaOfficial HIGE DANDism

When it comes to spring songs by Official HIGE DANDism, there’s “Hajimari no Asa,” which sings about new graduates entering the workforce, and “Parabola” is also a perfect fit for a new chapter in life.
The opening depiction of just having moved into a new apartment will resonate with many listeners in particular.
While many of their songs feature sophisticated band arrangements, this track is refreshingly clean—so much so that it was used in a Calpis commercial.
For the average male vocalist, the high notes may be a bit demanding, so if you’re not confident with your upper range, try lowering the key slightly to make it easier to sing.
beetle (specifically, a rhinoceros beetle)aiko

The title feels summery, but spring appears in the lyrics—actually, all the seasons do—so it’s a song you can enjoy year-round.
It’s one of the signature tracks by aiko, a singer-songwriter from Osaka Prefecture.
Released in 1999 as her fourth single, it became a huge hit.
Some of you may already consider it your go-to song at karaoke.
Helloyama × Bocchi Boromaru

Carried on the warm breeze that heralds the start of spring, a heartwarming song by yama and Bocchi Boromaru has arrived.
Singing of hope and courage for the future, the track was released in October 2023 and was chosen as the opening theme for the popular anime Pokémon.
The protagonist breaking through the clouds and journeying beyond the stars mirrors our own leap into new environments.
This is a song for everyone taking a new step with the coming of spring.
If you’re feeling anxious about a new chapter in life, listening to this track is sure to give you courage.
SenbonzakuraWagakki Band

When it comes to Vocaloid songs for cherry blossom season, this one is it.
“Senbonzakura” was originally released in 2011 by Kurousa-P and is undeniably one of the first titles that comes up when someone asks, “What’s a classic Vocaloid song?” It was also used in commercials, so many people are likely familiar with it.
The video is an arrangement by the popular group Wagakki Band.
Recommended for singers with strong projection.
But you know, sometimesimase

This is a song by imase that gently conveys the importance of taking a breather in our busy daily lives.
With a soothing melody and warm vocals, it tenderly embraces the feelings of modern people who are so caught up in hectic days that they don’t even have time to gaze at the sky.
Released in July 2022 and written as the theme song for JT’s corporate ad series “Hitoiki Shūkan” (A Breather Habit), the track was included on the first EP, “POP CUBE,” and sparked conversation.
It’s recommended for moments when you want to spend time facing your own feelings, on the way home after a day of pushing yourself too hard, or whenever you want to calm your mind.
