Shanghai Honey ORANGE RANGE

Among the songs you can belt out at karaoke, this is the one I want to introduce not as a heartfelt ballad, but as a track you can sing, dance, and have fun with! It’s a song released in 2003 by ORANGE RANGE, a rock band from Okinawa Prefecture, and it’s one of their signature hits! The rapid-fire mic relay is a blast, so when you sing it at karaoke, make sure everyone joins in and enjoys it together! Plus, the upbeat, catchy chorus is so fun it’ll make you want to start dancing!

Mrs.

GREEN APPLE, who debuted in 2013, has drawn attention for their distinctive sound and strongly messaged songs.

Their track “Que Sera Sera,” released on April 25, 2023, won the 65th Japan Record Award that same year.

It was also chosen as the theme song for the drama “Sunday Night Is About This Much…,” starring Nana Seino, offering uplifting energy to many people who feel worn out by everyday life.

With lyrics themed around the determination to face adversity and the spirit of self-acceptance, it encourages an optimistic attitude of “whatever will be, will be.” It’s a perfect song for those who want to belt it out at karaoke to release their feelings and relieve stress, for anyone in the midst of a challenge, and for those looking to boost their self-esteem!

King Gnu, the rock band that skyrocketed to fame with this song.

Driven by each member’s impressive musicianship, the track rides a cool, funky groove topped off by two standout vocalists.

Few male singers can pull off Satoru Iguchi’s ultra high tones, but if you can sing this, it’ll definitely feel amazing! Daiki Tsuneta’s rap part also has a snappy rhythm that really gets you moving.

At karaoke, be sure to perform it with two confident male singers.

Until the World Ends…WANDS

Until the World Ends… WANDS

WANDS, a three-piece rock band that was at the heart of the Being artist boom in the 1990s and still remains highly active today.

Their 8th single, “Sekai ga Owaru made wa…,” used as the ending theme for the TV anime SLAM DUNK, became a million-seller thanks in part to the anime’s popularity, and is widely known as one of WANDS’ signature songs.

With subdued vocals in the A and B sections that burst open in the chorus, the melody line is a sure-fire highlight whether you’re singing or listening.

It’s a timeless anime classic that we’d love people of any generation to sing at karaoke.

dizzyAdo

Since her striking major-label debut, the singer Ado has continued to hone her vocal prowess and expressive power.

Her 20th digital-only single, “Kura Kura,” was selected as the opening theme for the TV anime SPY×FAMILY Season 2.

Its intricate melody set against a lavish ensemble—combining high difficulty with breakneck energy—is sure to delight karaoke enthusiasts.

Whether you’re singing it or listening, it’s a pop tune that amps you up and begs for a full-throttle, heartfelt performance.

CQCQGod, I've realized it.

The masked band “Kamisama, Boku wa Kizuiteshimatta” and their major-label debut single “CQCQ.” Even just being a masked band makes them mysterious, but they also haven’t revealed detailed profiles.

Isn’t it wild that we don’t even know who the vocalist is? This song they perform is up-tempo and brimming with a sense of speed.

The lyrics are packed with human greed, and you’ll feel refreshed once it’s over!

We’ve gotta do what seems impossible – Sambomaster

Sambomaster is a three-piece rock band that’s gained popularity for their outstanding guitar work, positive lyrics, and powerful vocals.

They have many great songs, but the one I especially recommend is Dekikkonai wo Yaranakucha (We’ve Gotta Do the Impossible).

It’s a very bright, uplifting anthem, and while the vocals are strong throughout, it’s more shout-heavy than wide in vocal range.

Even if you sing it a bit rough, it still comes across well, so it’s a solid choice to add to your repertoire.
