Shinpei Murakami

I’m part of a music unit called “Hanagara Lantern.” After working at a live music venue in Kyoto for three years, I moved to Tokyo and started an indie label.

I’m a one-person neighborhood music shop who does everything from writing lyrics and composing, arranging, and providing songs, to all the behind-the-scenes grunt work! I love punk and folk music, and my motto is “365 days off!”
