About RAG MUSIC Editorial Department
Lovely VocaloidOur Philosophy
Based in Kyoto, RAG International Music has been involved in a variety of music businesses, including live music venues, music studios, recording studios, and artist management.
Music has an energy that can delight and move people—something beyond what words can fully express—and ever since humanity’s beginnings up to the present day, it has been an indispensable “good medicine” for the human heart.
To share the allure of such “music” with more people, RAG MUSIC has produced many articles to date and has been actively disseminating information.
In 2013, we narrowed our target to people who play musical instruments and began creating articles on instrument knowledge and performance techniques.
After that, I began creating song review articles aimed at a broader audience, and now—on top of those—I also produce childcare-related articles introducing activities for children and caregiving-related articles featuring recreational activities for senior care facilities, thereby expanding my field of information sharing into entertainment pieces that bring enjoyment to people.
Believing that entertainment—music, play, recreation, and more—is the true “good medicine” that enriches our hearts, RAG MUSIC will continue to share all kinds of entertainment information.
Operational Policy
At RAG MUSIC, we operate with the following three points in mind.
- Deliver content that resonates with everyone.Aim for content that feels convincing and is easy to put into practice.
- Aiming to create a clear and convenient website; to be like a highly useful dictionary for readers.
- Share content that leverages each writer’s area of expertise. Have writers who are knowledgeable about each article’s theme handle the writing.
Editorial department atmosphere
The articles are written by editorial staff members who are well-versed in each article’s theme.
In addition to active musicians, we bring in the necessary personnel as needed, ranging from piano and vocal instructors and former music studio staff—insiders of the music industry—to staff with professional qualifications such as nursery teachers and certified care workers.
Our staff spans a wide range of ages, from current students to fathers and mothers raising children, as well as people in their 50s who have more time for themselves—truly diverse regardless of age or gender.
By exchanging opinions among a wide range of generations within each community, we believe we can deliver content that resonates with all segments.
Another characteristic is that we were quick to adopt remote work, which became widespread during the COVID-19 pandemic, as early as 2018; at present, all staff perform their duties entirely from home.
Even though we work remotely, we leverage video chats in our daily operations to maintain close communication, strive to create a comfortable working environment, and attract better talent.
