While many people might picture a generally lively, cheerful “Latin vibe,” when you look at music genres, traditional styles like mariachi, ranchera, son, and corrido are especially well-known.

So, how much do you know about Mexican artists?

This article introduces both past and present artists and singers who represent Mexico.

The first half features young artists taking the world by storm—centered on Gen Z and including Mexican Americans—while the latter half highlights legendary singers.
