Moonlight Station SEKAI NO OWARI

This worldview makes my heart flutter.

A mid-tempo track included on the 2015 album “Tree.” Written and composed by Fukase, it’s an ambitious piece that incorporates various traditional Japanese sounds like shamisen and koto, overflowing with Sekai no Owari’s romantic charm.

It evokes a beautiful atmosphere reminiscent of the unreachable cosmos and the moon—so lovely.

The irresistibly catchy, comfortably grooving melody makes your body move, and the love story set on the “Moonlight Station” is downright swoon-worthy.

It’s a song that will put a smile on your face, perfect for a summer night sky.

sunflowerSEKAI NO OWARI

When it comes to sunflower songs that portray a pure, heartrending love, “Himawari” comes to mind.

It’s included on SEKAI NO OWARI’s 2019 album Lip, a band known for delivering a unique sound that blends all kinds of music.

The light, crisp guitar work etched over a driving beat is especially striking.

The lyrics depict unrequited feelings for someone special, and the line comparing oneself to a sunflower gazing up at the sun is deeply moving.

Give it a listen and sink into its subtly moody atmosphere.

Sailor Moon has been beloved across generations and remains just as popular in the 2020s.

Inspired by Sailor Moon—and officially recognized by the original Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon franchise—SG5 made their debut in July 2022.

The project had been underway behind the scenes since 2020, and they were unveiled in May 2022 at ANIME CENTRAL 2022 in Chicago, USA.

This makes it clear that they had global activities in mind from the very beginning.

The five-member SG5 includes members from two groups under LDH JAPAN: Happiness and iScream.

Calling themselves five Sailor Guardians, they define their group as a “galactic super J-POP group protecting the universe from evil, injustice, and negativity,” and they have enlisted Grammy-winning artist BloodPop as their executive producer.

Aiming to become global artists and spread Japanese culture worldwide, they are a group you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on.

MOONSIAM SHADE

SIAM SHADE V8 – MOON [LIVE]
MOONSIAM SHADE

SIAM SHADE’s “MOON” uses the metaphor of the other person as the sun and oneself as the moon.

It’s a track included on their 2000 album “SIAM SHADE VI,” which reached No.

8 on the Oricon chart.

The song was also voted 15th in a fan poll conducted when they later produced a best-of album.

While it’s a technically intricate piece featuring SIAM SHADE’s signature odd time signatures, the lyrics are romantic, expressing a desire to “stay close to you like the moon that always shines.”

It’s a rock-style band track with negative lyrics that people who tend to be shy or panic can really relate to.

Nails and makeup are tools directly linked to a girl’s combat power, while also serving as a kind of refuge for women.

Legend of DreamsStardust Revue

A single released in 1991.

Stardust Revue’s songs were often used in commercials.

“Yume Densetsu” was featured in a Suntory ad.

As for the unrequited-love element, in the song he meets his destined person in a dream.

It’s not in reality—he’s singing about facing someone he hasn’t met yet, but within his own dream.

It’s the dream of a romantic young man who’s in love with the idea of love.
