Magical MamboYoko Maekawa, Honey Knights

Mitsuteru Yokoyama’s original work Sally the Witch can be considered a forerunner of the so-called “magical girl” genre.
It has been adapted into an anime twice, and the song “Mahō no Mambo” was used as the ending theme from episodes 1 through 26 of the 1966 version.

Perman is a manga by Fujiko F.
Fujio about a boy named Mitsuo Suwa, who becomes a hero by wearing the Perman set.
“Perman wa Soko ni Iru” (Perman Is There) is the ending theme of the second TV anime series, which began airing in 1983.
Daichan Counting SongYoshimi Yoshida

Inakappe Taisho is a manga by Noboru Kawasaki that depicts the exploits of the protagonist, Daizaemon Kaze, who comes to Tokyo from Aomori Prefecture.
The theme song of the TV anime adaptation broadcast from 1970 to 1972, Daichan Kazoewuta, was the debut single of Yoshimi Yoshida (now Yoshimi Tendo).

Tatakae! Ospur is a TV anime that depicts the adventures of Ospur, a psychic boy who came from the continent of Mu.
The theme song was sung by enka singer Taro Yamada.
Note that this work has not been released on home video, so it is difficult to watch the main episodes.

Kimba the White Lion is a manga by Osamu Tezuka that depicts the adventures of a white lion named Leo and has been adapted into anime several times.
Jungle Emperor Theme is the opening song of the first TV anime series, which aired from 1965 to 1966, and was sung by Tadahiko Hirano.
The Fateful Day ~Soul vs. Soul~Hironobu Kageyama

I bet many of you have tried mimicking the act of releasing ki! The globally popular anime Dragon Ball Z featured the insert song “Day of Destiny ~Spirit vs.
Spirit~.” It played during the Cell arc when Gohan awakened into Super Saiyan 2.
After Android 16 was destroyed by Cell, Gohan’s anger peaked and he powered up beyond his limits… The song, blending intensity with a touch of sorrow, fit that development perfectly.
Hiroshi Kageyama’s powerful vocals shake both the chest and the heart.

Cyborg 009, one of Shotaro Ishinomori’s representative works, depicts the exploits of nine cyborg warriors, including the protagonist Joe Shimamura.
It has been adapted into anime multiple times, but the theme song “Tawaregatameni” (For Whose Sake) from the second TV anime is particularly popular.
