Here are some soul-stirring masterpieces by Oasis, the rock band that Britain proudly claims.
With the commanding vocals and melodies crafted by the distinctive Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, paired with lyrics that resonate deeply.
Their songs—singing of life’s joys and hopes, love and loneliness, and at times even brotherly love—continue to captivate hearts across generations.

All Around The WorldOasis

It’s a song that symbolizes the third album, notable for being very long.
Still, the way it forcefully pushes a potentially monotonous track forward with sheer momentum felt emblematic of the times.
About twenty years have passed since then, and listening back now, I find it an even better song.
That hasn’t changed since back then.
The more someone loves this track, the more they can be called an Oasis fan.
Falling DownOasis

It’s effectively Oasis’s last single.
To be honest, you can tell they were particular about the sound, but at the time it didn’t quite click for me.
However, listening back now, I find I can take it in surprisingly easily.
It’s one of the songs I wanted to hear with Liam on vocals.
Lord Don’t Slow Me DownOasis

This song is a single released to coincide with the launch of the live DVD.
It’s a rare type of track for Oasis, featuring Noel on vocals; combined with its light tempo, it’s one you’ll want to replay over and over.
There’s also a version with Liam, so try looking for that, too.
Love Like a BombOasis

This is a track from Oasis’s sixth album, “Don’t Believe the Truth.” I think it’s a song where the piano and acoustic guitar sound beautiful.
There’s also a fun anecdote that Liam asked Noel to play the guitar as if he were George Harrison.

ShakermakerOasis

Oasis’s third single overall, which was also included on their debut album Definitely Maybe.
It reached No.
11 on the UK Singles Chart.
According to Oasis member Noel Gallagher, the song was influenced by the Beatles’ “Flying.” The lyrics feature toys, sweets, and children’s cartoons.
SongbirdOasis

Among Oasis’s many classic songs, Songbird drew particular attention as the first track written and composed by Liam Gallagher.
Included on the album Heathen Chemistry, released in June 2002, and issued as a single the following February, it reached No.
3 on the UK charts.
Despite its brief length of about two minutes, its simple, warm lyrics and melody captured many listeners’ hearts and earned high praise from fans.
Written by Liam as a love song for his then-fiancée, its straightforward expression of emotion resonates with listeners.
It’s a must-hear for those struggling with a relationship or wishing to reaffirm their feelings for someone important.
Ain’t Got Nothin’Oasis

Like the straight-ahead rock numbers “Better Man” and “The Meaning of Soul,” it features an arrangement that carries a distinctly psychedelic vibe.
It’s an original song that epitomizes Liam’s musical identity, which remained unwavering throughout the Oasis era.
