Goronta Ondo by Ichiro Mizuki and Nobuko Saito

The ending theme used from 1976 to 1979 was “Goronta Ondo.” It was performed by Nobuko Saito, the 11th “Uta no Onee-san,” and Ichiro Mizuki, who reigned as the king of anime songs and also served as the 2nd “Uta no Onii-san.” The Tokyo Broadcasting Children’s Choir also took part, and the energetic singing of the children left a strong impression.

In the middle of the song there’s a scene where the character Goronta competes with the children, and it’s said that the staging where a costumed character interacts directly with kids began at this time.

Bun Bun Hoi (Okaasan to Issho) / Korogi ’73

Ryo Miyauchi (Bunbunhoi), Hitomi Nanase

Bun Bun Hoi is the ending theme of the puppet show Bun Bun Time, which aired within Okaasan to Issho for three years starting in 1979.

It was sung by Ryo Miyauchi, the fourth ‘Uta no Onii-san,’ and Hitomi Nanase, the thirteenth ‘Uta no Onee-san.

’ Partway through, it includes a game similar to the Okaasan to Issho version of “Acchi Muite Hoi.” There’s also a version by Korogi ’73, a chorus unit active from 1972 to 1990 that performed anime songs and children’s songs.
