Songs that start with “Pa.” Great for game hints or making playlists!

There are lots of words that start with “pa,” like “puzzle,” “punk,” and “party,” and plenty of songs that begin with those words, too.

In this article, we’ll introduce a bunch of songs whose titles start with “pa.”

Use it as a hint for games like “song shiritori,” where you play using only song titles, or “shiritori karaoke,” where you link songs in a chain while singing at karaoke.

It can also help when you want to create a playlist themed around the Japanese syllabary, like a “songs starting with the ‘pa’ row” list.

You might even discover tracks you don’t usually sing or listen to!

PARTYMONGOL800

Just like the title says! Perfect for a party! After the intro ends, the excitement kicks in all at once and my energy goes MAX!

Song of the Panty Thief - MowMow LuLu Gyaban

You’d think it’s a smooth, tender ballad, but it’s actually about a panty thief.

It’s definitely not something you can sing in front of women, but it really gets the guys going.

At MowMow LuLuGyaban’s shows, the call-and-response with the crowd shouting “Panty!” was famous.

Mom and DadYo Hitoto

Yo Hitoto “Papa Mama” Lyric Video Completed Ver. (from the latest album Watashi Juso)
Papa Mama Yo Hitoto

This is a song about the singer’s feelings for her late parents.

In the lyrics, she asks, “God, why do people have to die?”—a question rooted in Yo Hitoto’s experience of losing her parents at a young age.

To commemorate the song’s release, the public photo submission project “Yo Hitoto ‘Papa Mama’ Campaign” drew over a thousand entries, each accompanied by a family story.

At the end of the video, a three-shot photo of a young Yo Hitoto with her late parents was shown.

Panda, Rabbit, KoalaHiroki Inui

Panda, Bunny, Koala [Classic Popular Hand Game] | Hand Play Video
Panda, Rabbit, Koala Inui Hiroki

Make circles with your hands around your eyes for a panda.

Spread your hands above your head for a rabbit.

Put both arms out in front of you in a hugging pose for a koala.

It’s a play song where you sing while striking each animal pose.

At first you add a “come here, come here” gesture between the animals, but partway through it switches to repeating just “Panda, Rabbit, Koala,” making it a bit more challenging.

Since kids can mimic the poses, it’s a recommended song for singing and playing together.

PUZZLEMai Kuraki

An aggressive dance track that incorporates samples like door-opening sounds and sirens.

In addition to Mai Kuraki’s signature whispery vocals, she also showcases her own rap in the intro and the break.

It vividly, though abstractly, portrays the feelings of searching for the “piece” that fills the gaps in relationships and in the heart.

Released in April 2009, the song was also used as the theme for the feature film Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser.

It’s included on the album ALL MY BEST as well.

A track packed with the cool, stylish appeal of Mai Kuraki—perfect for anyone in the midst of a journey of self-discovery.

Passing ByKumi Koda

Koda Kumi / Passing By (1 chorus ver.)
Passing By Kumi Koda

This song is my favorite and is included on the album Dejavu.

The music video is beautiful, and I love the parts that go into slow motion.

At the live show, the set where Koda appears behind glass, suddenly becomes three people, and makes it look like the glass shatters was amazing and really left an impression on me.
