Compilation of Theme Songs from the First 10 Super Sentai Series
Busters, ready go!Hideyuki Takahashi

Aired from February 26, 2012 to February 10, 2013, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters uses “spies” as its motif in both appearance and action, and it incorporates computer-related elements in its presentation.
It also aimed to ‘reform’ the Super Sentai series, being the first team name not to include the suffix “-ger.” The opening theme is “Busters Ready Go!”
Hurricaneger, at your service!Hideaki Takatori

Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger, which aired in 2002.
Because the initial team consisted of just three warriors, it probably felt a bit lacking for kids.
However, as ninjas from different schools joined forces, things became quite lavish by the end.
The English-speaking Shurikenger especially stood out.
The theme song is Hideaki Takatori’s “Hurricaneger Sanjo!”
Tensou Sentai GoseigerNOB

Tensou Sentai Goseiger is a Super Sentai series themed around angels that aired from February 14, 2010 to February 6, 2011.
It was also the first in the Sentai franchise to introduce trading cards for transformations and battles.
The series’ opening theme song is “Tensou Sentai Goseiger,” sung by NoB.
Summary of Theme Songs from Successive Super Sentai Series (11–20)
Kaizoku Sentai GokaigerTakeshi Matsubara (Project.R)

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger aired from February 13, 2011 to February 19, 2012.
Tsuyoshi Matsubara (Project.
R) performs the opening theme.
Gokaiger’s motif is pirates—the first in the series—and all members are portrayed as aliens.
Using the power of Ranger Keys, they can transform into past Super Sentai teams, making them a unique and mysterious Sentai.
GoGo Sentai BoukengerNOB

Known for being featured on the “Ame Talk!” Super Sentai Lovers episode, where Bōken Yellow’s transformation pose was praised as cute, 2006’s GoGo Sentai Boukenger stars Akashi Satoru, the protagonist Bōken Red, who is portrayed as a comical character with incredibly bad luck.
Bakuryu Sentai AbarangerMasaaki Endo

A dinosaur-themed Super Sentai series that aired in 2003, Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.
In addition to red, yellow, blue, and black, a white warrior who opposes the protagonists also appears, which must have been pretty confusing for kids at the time.
The opening theme is Masaki Endoh’s “Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.” It’s a song that feels like it’s all about “rampaging to the max,” with incredible intensity from start to finish! Really brings back memories.
JIKU ~ Future Squadron TimerangerKumi Sasaki

TimeRanger of the Future Sentai series began around the same time as the Heisei Rider show Kamen Rider Kuuga.
Because it explores the theme of time, it’s known as a particularly strong, SF-leaning work.
The powerful opening song is Kumi Sasaki’s “JIKU ~ Future Sentai Timeranger.” With a progressive and hard rock flavor, it’s clear the series was aiming to bring adults into its fanbase, not just kids.
