Theme songs and insert songs of the Pretty Cure series
Introducing the theme songs from the Precure series, the beloved heroines of 21st-century girls.
Back in the 1990s, Sailor Moon was the icon for girls, but since the Precure series began airing in 2004, it has taken the era by storm and is gaining popularity at a pace that could surpass Sailor Moon.
When the show first started, there were only two Precures, but more than ten years later, the number has grown to over 40.
Who is your favorite Precure?

Precure series theme and insert songs (21–30)
Gambalance de Dance ~Relay of Hope~Mayumi Gojo / Flappy & Choppies

Yes! Pretty Cure 5 Go Go! This ending theme is really memorable.
It’s quite a hidden gem with a great rhythm, and it’s a fun song that really gets the energy up at karaoke.
With its lively melody, it’s become one of my favorite tracks.
Wonder☆Winter☆Yatta!!Mayumi Gojo

This is the later ending theme (ED) of Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart.
While the earlier ED was themed around “spring,” this one is a “winter”-themed song.
As a result, it has a somewhat Christmas-inspired feel.
Starting with this installment, the EDs were split into early and later versions; however, in this series the later ED ran for a short period and was only used for 11 episodes.
Main and insert songs of the Pretty Cure series (31–40)
Tomorrow Song ~Ashita no Uta~Mayu Kudo

This is the ending theme from the latter half of HeartCatch Precure!.
A key feature is its overall gospel style, with rich choral harmonies, organ accompaniment, and handclaps.
Since there aren’t many gospel-style anime songs, it makes for a very compelling listen.
Rainbow-colored EverydayYayoi Kise & Nao Midorikawa & Reika Aoki

It was one of my favorite songs from Smile Precure.
It’s a slightly cute pop tune that feels nostalgic, and the melody is so wistful and lovely.
It’s the kind of song you want to keep listening to.
The characters are adorable and remind me of those nostalgic times.
Full-bloom Smile!Hitomi Yoshida

This is the late-period ending theme for Smile Precure! Like the first ending, Yay! Yay! Yay!, it uses a system where the animation changes depending on the episode’s main character.
However, this one also depicts each character’s everyday life and other scenes, making it even more enjoyable.
In addition, the lyrics include the names of each Precure—Happy, Sunny, Peace, March, and Beauty—at various points.
Let your longing ride on magicYui Horie

It’s a hidden gem where my beloved Riko takes the lead vocals.
I love all the songs from Maho Girls Precure, so there are many I just can’t let go of.
This work was so cute and I absolutely loved it.
The songs still stay with me, so they’ve left a strong impression—I’d love to see them added to karaoke.
I really think it’s a hidden masterpiece.
Wonderful↑ Powerful↑ Music!!Mayu Kudo / Aya Ikeda

It’s the first ending theme song of Suite Precure.
I used to get excited when the song changed between the first and second halves.
Looking back, this song is a classic, too.
It has a slightly more mature vibe than usual, with great lyrics and a wonderful melody, so I can’t help but hum along.
It’s a beloved masterpiece for me.
