The Beatles Popular Song Rankings [2025]

The Beatles, a band that could be called the founders of popular music, are still beloved today.

This time, we’ve selected some of their most popular songs and put together a ranking.

They’re all very famous tracks, so you’ll probably recognize them.

It’s well known that John was influenced by Bob Dylan for a time (especially in terms of lyric writing), and this number makes it particularly clear—it even sounds like a parody of a Dylan song.

It’s a track from the album “Beatles for Sale.”

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-DaThe Beatles65rank/position

It’s a reggae-style pop song included on the Beatles’ 1968 album The Beatles.

The phrase “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” was reportedly something a Nigerian conga player performing at a club Paul frequently visited used to say.

It’s a classic that almost everyone has heard at least once, and it seems like a song that could fit a variety of scenes.

The Beatles – “No Reply”
No Reply (The Beatles)

A track included on the legendary band the Beatles’ 1965 album “Beatles for Sale.” He spots his lover walking arm in arm with another man.

Even when he knocks on her door, she won’t answer.

Though he still harbors feelings for her, he’s now left in a state of complete unrequited love.

The lyrics contrast sharply with the otherwise major-key feel of the song.

A Taste of HoneyThe Beatles67rank/position

An early cover song.

In Japan, when you say “A Taste of Honey,” the film by director Tony Richardson is well-known, but this song is a number from the musical adaptation of the original work.

Unlike John, who only listened to rock, Paul—who also liked this kind of pop—takes the vocal.

The Beatles—legends who need no introduction.

They’re the icons of rock and pop music who produced countless timeless songs and classic albums that are still sung today.

In Japan, they were also pioneers, being the first to use the Budokan for a concert and opening doors for later artists.

You could say every one of their albums is a masterpiece.

My recommendation is Abbey Road.

The crosswalk photo on the cover is so famous that fans still flock to the location to take commemorative photos.

As for the music, the final three tracks—Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and The End—flow together with such beauty that even now, just listening to them can bring me to tears.

It’s a Christmas song by the world’s most famous band, the Beatles.

I own all of their original albums, but I had never heard it.

When I looked into it, I found out it was a fan-club-only track that was never released on an album—a legendary, elusive masterpiece.

In 1964, The Beatles released the rockabilly-tinged album “Beatles for Sale,” and this is one of the tracks from it.

They deliver passionate covers of Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly, but this song sung by George Harrison is especially recommended.

The original was released by Carl Perkins in 1958.
