I think ELLEGARDEN is one of the bands that are popular across a wide range of ages.

There are probably many people who spent their youth listening to ELLEGARDEN’s songs.

This time, I’ve ranked ELLEGARDEN’s popular songs by their karaoke popularity.

SupernovaELLEGARDEN15rank/position

The song “Supernova,” included as the opening number on the 3rd album Pepperoni Quattro, also appeared on the compilation album Figureheads Compilation.

Its fast-paced, driving chorus really amps you up.

Though it’s challenging due to being entirely in English and having a quick tempo, the melody itself is simple and easy to remember, making it quite singable.

If you learn the lyrics well and can sing it confidently, it’s a refreshing, high-energy tune that will liven up any karaoke session.

AshELLEGARDEN16rank/position

The song “Ash” is included on the 5th album ELEVEN FIRE CRACKERS.

The opening, which kicks off with a strummed guitar sound, really heightens your anticipation for the track.

Since most of the lyrics are in Japanese and the melody is simple, it’s also recommended for those who aren’t very used to singing.

While the fast tempo does make it a bit challenging, its solid rock ensemble makes it an undeniable upper-tune that’s sure to get everyone fired up at karaoke.

Santa Claus ELLEGARDEN

Released in 2002, “Santa Claus” is a track with ELLEGARDEN’s signature band rock and guitar-driven sound, layered with a touch of bittersweetness.

The melody is very simple and easy to remember, and it’s clear where the song peaks.

The overall vocal range is C#3 to B4, and in the chorus where the pitch rises a bit, if you move with the groove while listening to the drums, it feels great to sing! Also, the song begins with vocals over the guitar—almost a cappella.

After that it shifts fully into a powerful band sound, so singing clearly with strong contrast will really bring out the song’s appeal.

If you like band-oriented rock, definitely get pumped up with ELLEGARDEN!

Ellegarden – Lost World [legendado pt]
Lost World ELLEGARDEN

The song “Lost World,” included on the 3rd album Pepperoni Quattro.

It opens with an ear-catching guitar riff and moves into an arrangement with a driving, brisk beat that really boosts your energy.

While the overall tempo is fast, the melody is relatively relaxed and the vocal range isn’t very wide, so it’s easier to sing than you might imagine.

There’s an English section partway through, but most of the lyrics are in Japanese, which also makes it easier to tackle.

It’s a rock tune I highly recommend choosing for karaoke.

It’s a track with a rugged, intensely distorted sound that you can’t get enough of.

The lyrics simply say something good, and maybe because of its classic sound, it hits you straight in the heart.

It’s a gentle song in the sense that it acknowledges mistakes and gives you the energy to keep pushing forward without breaking.

ELLEGARDEN – Venus LIVE 2007 (26/26) [ENG SUB]
Venus ELLEGARDEN

The song Venus, included on the second album BRING YOUR BOARD!!, carries a message that reminds us of the importance of recognizing what truly matters deep in our hearts, rather than material things that will eventually fade away.

It may inspire many people to reflect on themselves.

With its low key and entirely Japanese lyrics, it’s easy to try singing at karaoke.

It’s an emotional rock tune with a relaxed shuffle beat that feels great.

Elevated Line ELLEGARDEN

This is a song by ELLEGARDEN that made big headlines when they returned in 2018 after a 10-year hiatus.

They have other tracks under three minutes as well, but I chose this one because the Japanese lyrics make it easy to sing at karaoke.

If you like band-driven sounds, be sure to check out Red Hot and Make A Wish too!
