Roy Orbison was a vocalist beloved around the world for his clean-toned, soaring falsetto voice.

In Japan, he’s strongly associated with being “the Oh, Pretty Woman guy,” but in the United States he was a major star with numerous hit songs.

He also played an active role in the supergroup Traveling Wilburys, which he formed with the likes of Bob Dylan and George Harrison.
