This is Superfly’s ninth digital download single, released in November 2023.
It was written as the theme song for the TBS television drama “Gekokujō Kyūji,” which began airing on October 15, 2023.
Shiho Ochi, the vocalist renowned for her powerful and rich voice, shines here as well—her appeal is fully on display in this track! If you sing it with the same power as she does, you’re sure to become the center of attention.
Be sure to create clear contrasts in dynamics between the different parts and phrases of the song.
It’s also very important to produce the falsetto in the chorus cleanly!
BeautifulSuperfly9rank/position

A track included on Superfly’s fifth album, WHITE, and the theme song for TBS’s Tuesday drama “Mother Game: Kanojo-tachi no Kaikyū.” There are probably many women who admire the powerful, soulful singing of Superfly’s Shiho Ochi, right? To produce powerful high notes like hers, mastering a chest-dominant mixed voice is essential.
Try practicing with the sensation of producing falsetto while firmly supporting your upper body with your abdominal muscles and minimizing air leakage.
Since it’s an up-tempo song, it’s also important to control your body well so you don’t lose a sense of speed!
with a gentle heartSuperfly10rank/position

Superfly’s song was tied up as the Japanese end theme for the Disney film “Elemental.” Released in July 2023, the track portrays a heartfelt appreciation for human connections.
With embracing lyrics and a warm melody, it resonates deeply with listeners.
The song can also be interpreted as expressing gratitude to fans and is reportedly often used at weddings.
Overflowing with the gentle spirit that perfectly matches Disney’s world, it’s a great choice to sing at karaoke, too!

Embraced by loveSuperfly12rank/position

A wonderful ballad by Shiho Ochi, a Japanese songstress with a soulful voice.
Overflowing with love and sent with heartfelt devotion to someone dear, it’s deeply moving.
It’s a popular choice for weddings, and her deep, powerful voice and soaring, expansive singing style continue to captivate listeners.
A ballad that fills you with happiness.
FallSuperfly13rank/position

Shiho Ochi of Superfly is known for her incredible vocal power.
A highly challenging song that really showcases her vocal ability is Fall.
Rooted in jazz, the piece carries a decadent, desolate atmosphere throughout.
It’s not merely a downbeat track, though—the chorus demands overwhelming volume and expressive power.
Maintaining a thick, full-bodied tone while delivering shouts, among other techniques, makes this a song that requires exceptionally high-level technique and solid fundamentals.
PresenceSuperfly14rank/position

A digital download single by Superfly released in August 2022.
It was newly written as the opening theme for the second cour of the anime Aoashi, which began airing on July 2 of the same year.
I’m sure everyone is already well aware of Shiho Ochi’s outstanding vocal ability, but her voice and expressive power seem to have become even more refined since her major debut in 2007.
She has always been known for her powerful and dynamic singing, but even the softer vocals heard in this song are increasingly convincing.
Recreating this in karaoke will be quite challenging, but it’s a track I’d love for confident female singers to try.
Practice producing a soft and gentle falsetto that never sounds weak!
