Karakuri Pierrot 40mP

“Karakuri Pierrot” is a Vocaloid song by 40mP released on Nico Nico Douga in 2011.

It’s also included on the album “My Small Self and the Big World.” Featuring Hatsune Miku on vocals and GUMI on chorus, this heartbreak ballad reached one million views in 2012.

The song begins with a meeting-up scene and portrays the loneliness of being at the mercy of love.

The album version is slightly rearranged from the original, so it might be fun to compare the two!

It’s a grand ballad themed around heartbreak.

The title “from Y to Y” seems to play on the English idiom “from A to Z” (from beginning to end).

It portrays the relationship with a lover from its beginning to its end.

DECO*27 – Phony Tale feat. Hatsune Miku
Sonic Fake Stories DECO*27

“If only it were a lie…” Isn’t that what everyone thinks when they’re told it’s over? I’ve written the story of my own not-so-fairytale, not blessed with a happy ending, into lyrics as an “Otonise-Banashi.” It’s a song where lingering attachment is laid bare, so palpable you can almost grasp it.

The more you listen, the tighter your chest feels—painful, heartrending, and moving you to tears.

It got found out that I like you.Tohta Kasamura60rank/position

KasaMura Tota, a Vocaloid producer known for numerous ballads themed around “living,” has released his 81st song, “Kimi wo Suki na Koto ga Bareta” (“It Got Found Out That I Like You”).

Its powerful piano sound and heart-wrenching lyrical storyline make a strong impact.

While the frequent leaps in pitch and bouncy rhythms can make it feel challenging, the overall vocal range isn’t very wide, so it should be approachable.

With a catchy, easy-to-remember melody, it’s a number sure to turn heads at karaoke.

[Vocaloid] Ballad Song Ranking [2025] (61–70)

Self-Indulgence – Otomachi Una
Self-indulgent Komeda-wara

A song by Vocaloid producer Komedawara, released in 2020.

It opens with crisp acoustic guitar strumming and a rhythmic vocal melody, and the dry tone of the electric guitar that joins partway through heightens the song’s sense of poignancy—there’s a lot to listen for.

The well-placed break in the first verse catches the ear, creating a tension that keeps the listener engaged and brings out the heartache in the lyrics.

In the outro, playing the main guitar riff an octave higher wraps up the track simply yet effectively.

It’s a tear-jerking Vocaloid ballad that conveys the determination to keep moving forward even through days when nothing seems to go right.

Losing You (Part I) Yasuha.

A longing for someone precious whom you can never meet again… This R&B ballad portrays that painful sense of loss.

It’s a work by the Vocaloid producer Yasuha.

, also known for “Sukinononi” and “On Your Side,” released in 2017.

The song is included on the album “DIVERSITY.” Centered on a beautiful piano melody, the refined sound blends with Hatsune Miku’s fragile vocals, seeping deep into the heart.

The lyrics vividly convey the protagonist’s regret over time that cannot be reclaimed and words once exchanged, tightening the chest.

It might even bring back a cherished memory within you.

Hatsune Miku – I (don’t) love you (Part.Ⅰ) feat. Yasuha.[English Subtitles]【Vocaloid Original Song】
Even though I love you, Yasuha.

Even before the vocals begin, the intro alone almost brings me to tears.

It’s a song that looks back on the joyful times of being in love.

“Back then, we used to laugh together…” I find myself dwelling on thoughts like that.

Combined with Hatsune Miku’s slightly raspy voice, it becomes a tear-jerking track that lets you feel the lingering ache and sadness in the air.
