Juice WRLD – Robbery (Official Music Video)

This is the lead single from Juice WRLD’s second album, A Deathrace for Love, released in March 2019! Centered on heartbreak, the song Robbery, which means “robbery,” is about what his girlfriend took from him.

Its piano-based track combined with his distinctive emo rap captures the emotions perfectly.

Bank Account21 Savage65rank/position

21 Savage – Bank Account (Official Audio)
Bank Account21 Savage

Rapper 21 Savage from Atlanta.

Until a little while ago, he had the image of a promising young rapper, but lately, as his props have grown, he’s come to be recognized as more of a mid-career artist.

One of 21 Savage’s classic tracks is Bank Account.

The way Auto-Tune is used in this song is very interesting—it’s applied only to parts of the rap.

The occasional Auto-Tune “fake” creates a perfectly laid-back vibe.

Dear Mama2Pac66rank/position

Tupac stood at the forefront of the hip-hop scene.

While his bold personality often gets emphasized, he also had a delicate side.

That delicate side is fully showcased in Dear Mama.

Although it doesn’t depict an ideal family environment, it’s a wonderful song that reveals his own kind of family love.

Suge (Yea Yea)Dababy

First off, it’s pronounced “Da-Baby.” I think anyone who watches his music videos will instantly feel it—he’s got the entertainer quality you’d expect from a comedian.

At first, people called him a one-hit wonder, but with each release and live performance, his talent gradually gained recognition.

There aren’t many rappers with a humorous, whimsical worldview who keep delivering hits.

I’m excited to hear more fun tracks from him in the future.

UpCardi B68rank/position

Cardi B – Up [Official Music Video]
UpCardi B

A hip-hop track where a thundering, aggressive beat intertwines with a refrain that sticks in your head after just one listen.

It’s a song by American rapper Cardi B that made waves with its powerful message about staying true to yourself and brushing off rivals.

Released in February 2021, it hit No.

1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won “Favorite Hip Hop Song” at the American Music Awards that same year.

Perfect for boosting your mood and confidence, or for moving your body to the groove.

This track is also slated to be included on her second album, “Am I the Drama?”—why not give an energetic dance a try?

HoudiniEminem69rank/position

Eminem – Houdini [Official Music Video]

Leaving behind an incredible number of classic tracks, Eminem is a rapper who, despite being white, is supported by heads all over the world.

Even those who aren’t deep into hip-hop likely know who he is.

Among his songs, the one I especially recommend is this track.

Released in May 2024, it serves as the lead single from his 12th album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).” The lyrics are striking for the way they confront his past while delivering sharp social criticism.

Riding an upbeat groove, his overwhelming rap skills make this a must-listen for any hip-hop fan.

Marvin Gaye – Sexual Healing (Official HD Video)
Sexual HealingMarvin Gaye

Marvin Gaye, one of the leading artists of neo soul, is an artist who has had a major influence on contemporary R&B.

Alongside his contemporaries Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder, he helped lay the foundations of modern Black music.

A song of his I highly recommend is “Sexual Healing.” It’s a work that directly expresses the sexual feelings one has toward a lover.

Expressions like this likely had a significant impact on today’s R&B.
