Commercial Songs by Male Western Artists: CM Songs, Commercials, and Popular Track Rankings [2025]

I’ve put together a ranking of popular commercial songs—limited to those by male Western artists.

Despite how catchy commercial songs are and how easily they get stuck in your head, have you ever realized you don’t even know whose song it is? Here, you might be able to solve at least one of those mysteries.

Commercial Songs by Male Western Artists: 2025 Ranking of Popular CM Tracks (41–50)

The Weeknd – Dancing In The Flames (Official Music Video)
Dancing In The FlamesThe Weeknd

This commercial introduces the fact that the music video for The Weeknd’s 2024 track “Dancing In The Flames” was shot on an iPhone 16 Pro.

Presented like a behind-the-scenes look at the MV, the ad shows The Weeknd being filmed with an iPhone.

It’s hard to believe footage like this was created with the smartphones we hold every day, but the spot directly conveys just how powerful the device is.

The BGM is, of course, “Dancing In The Flames,” featuring a clear, beautiful vocal laid over a driving beat.

It’s a track that’s both stylish and so pleasing you’ll want to keep listening.

A ballad released by Eric Carmen in 1975.

It was used as a commercial song for Toyota’s Soarer and Daihatsu’s Copen.

Featuring a striking piano and a deeply melancholic melody, it’s a classic that moves every listener.

Celine Dion’s cover is also well-known.

CLAIRGilbert O`Sullivan46rank/position

Gilbert O’ Sullivan – Clair • TopPop
CLAIRGilbert O`Sullivan

A hit number by Irish singer-songwriter Gilbert O’Sullivan.

It was used as a commercial song for Toyota’s “Vista.” The song is an affectionate piece about an uncle and his young niece.

The real Claire is the young daughter of O’Sullivan’s producer-manager, and you can hear the little girl’s giggle at the end of the track.

It’s a very heartwarming number that will put you in a happy mood.

Strangers in the NightMel Torme47rank/position

It was used as the commercial song for ANA’s Domestic Premium Class and Toyota’s Crown, among others.

The song is the theme from the 1965 film “The Liquidator,” and it became a hit the following year when Frank Sinatra sang it.

It also won a Grammy Award for this song, but it is said that Sinatra himself didn’t care for it very much.
