It also has very strong reggae elements, making it enjoyable for fans of that genre as well.
La BicicletaCarlos Vives, Shakira

Shakira, an artist from Colombia, is a renowned figure representing Latin music and has won the Latin Grammy Awards multiple times throughout her career.
She’s also a popular artist in Japan.
The song where she collaborates with fellow Colombian artist Carlos Vives is “La Bicicleta.” Its melody blends elements of Colombia’s traditional folk music, vallenato, with reggaeton and pop music.
Borro CassetteMaluma

One of Colombia’s most representative artists, Maluma.
Like Shakira, he is among the country’s best-selling artists and, as a singer-songwriter, has produced numerous hit songs.
Among his many classics, the one I especially recommend is “Borro Cassette.” Released in 2015, this track became a massive hit not only in Colombia but across Latin America.

Singer-songwriter J Balvin from Colombia is one of the leading figures in Latin music and enjoys immense popularity in the Spanish-speaking world.

Because it’s crafted as a very slow reggaeton track, some listeners might even perceive it as reggae.

Manuel Turizo Zapata, a reggaeton musician from Colombia affectionately known by his initials MTZ.
Within the reggaeton scene, he’s a relatively new-generation artist, drawing global attention as a figure expected to lead the future of reggaeton.
The song that helped him gain international recognition is “Una Lady Como Tú.” Released as a single in 2016, it became a massive hit across the Spanish-speaking world.
TravesurasNicky Jam

Nicky Jam is one of the most iconic reggaeton musicians representing the United States.
If you listen to reggaeton, he’s a familiar name.
A regular on the Latin charts, he has released numerous hit songs over the years.
