Lost in BlueNIGHTMARE

Nightmare – Lost in Blue ~Parade Tour Final “Majestic”~
Lost in BlueNIGHTMARE

It’s the opening theme of the anime Mouryou no Hako.

While there’s a certain darkness to it, the melody also unfolds like a wide blue sky, which gives it a bittersweet feel.

Right at the very end, a melody unlike anything before appears, and that part builds up tremendously.

The anime is originally based on a novel, but it matches surprisingly well with the visual kei style of the song.

Romance PromenadeNOVELA

A track from the Japanese progressive hard rock band NOVELA’s third album, Paradise Lost, which was released in December 1981.

I may have chosen a slightly niche song, but I picked it because it’s a truly wonderful ballad where vocalist Angie Hisakatsu Igarashi’s distinctive high-tone voice resonates beautifully, and I really wanted to introduce it here.

As of 2022, when I’m writing this, I imagine some people in their 50s might have covered this song and played it in their bands.

Even putting that aside, it’s a very beautiful ballad, so please enjoy it!

Rolling Girl Nem

This is a Vocaloid track that makes you want to shout, “You can do it!” as you find yourself identifying with Miku, who’s tumbling helplessly down a slope without even being able to brace herself.

As she gradually learns to take a fall and even to roll, it evokes human growth and makes you realize the preciousness of growing as a person.
