It’s recommended for times when you want to listen to a mellow, star-themed song or spend time with your lover.

Miho Nakayama’s 1988 hit “You’re My Only Shinin’ Star” is a love song that compares a beloved person to the sparkle of the stars.

Stars and love songs go so well together, don’t they? Produced by Toshiki Kadomatsu—whose talent and artistry are drawing even more attention amid the city pop revival—the track shines with Miho Nakayama’s beautifully emotive vocals, and the trumpet in the interlude is equally romantic and deeply moving.
