Karaoke songs that are easy to sing, even for those who aren’t confident at singing, recommended for teenage girls
Recently, with the rise of high-voiced male vocalists, it’s become an even tougher world for tone-deaf women when it comes to singing.
In particular, women who can’t hit high notes are probably having quite a hard time.
Of course, vocal range matters, but even more important is whether you’re choosing the right key for yourself.
With that technical point in mind, this time I’ve selected easy-to-sing songs I’d recommend for teenage girls.

Karaoke songs that are easy to sing even for those who struggle with singing, recommended for teenage girls (1–10)
moonlightAimer

Aimer is a popular singer-songwriter known for her distinctive vocal style.
Her breath-infused singing voice is loved by a wide range of generations.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is Tsukikage (Moonshadow).
This piece is a quintessential J-pop ballad, notable for its emotionally expressive vocal performance.
The vocal range is relatively narrow, and there aren’t any particularly challenging pitches.
The tempo is relaxed as well, so even those who struggle with breathing can sing it with confidence.
Cosmic TreatPerfume

Popular dance-pop vocal group Perfume.
Because they’ve been active for so many years, I think many teenage girls have been exposed to their music.
Their new song is Cosmic Treat.
This work is characterized by a sound centered on synthwave, a genre that was trendy in the 1980s.
It features an evocative, truly midnight sound that conjures the night, and the vocal lines are kept calm to match.
There aren’t any particularly difficult parts, so give it a try.
Flower of DisguiseNakiso

Nakiso, a Vocaloid producer who’s been gaining momentum lately.
They’ve been active since 2018 and have specialized in a darker musical style from the start.
Among Nakiso’s tracks, the one I especially recommend to teenage girls is “Bakenohana.” While it doesn’t necessarily have a narrow vocal range, it’s sung in a whispery voice, so it doesn’t require much volume.
Even if you’re not confident in your projection or long tones, you can sing it comfortably—so consider adding it to your repertoire.

CinderellaTohru

The female singer TOMEI, who rose to nationwide popularity through the film Suzume, is known for her strikingly clear voice, but lately she’s been challenging herself with songs in a variety of styles.
In particular, her dark, cool works have been earning a strong reputation.
The track Haikaburi showcases this cool side of her to the fullest.
Since it’s a downtempo song, you should be able to sing it even if you can’t hit high notes.
If you want a cooler vibe, try mixing in some breathiness when you sing.
Shadows of SummerMrs. GREEN APPLE

Mrs.
GREEN APPLE’s “Natsu no Kage” is popular across generations and has a calm, slightly bittersweet vibe.
It’s the kind of song you’d want to listen to through your earphones on the way home with friends.
Since the range is B2 to A4 and not too wide, those trademark ultra-high notes from Mrs.
GREEN APPLE barely appear.
It may feel a bit low for women, but it’s a relaxing number to sing.
The key points when singing are, of course, the low notes and the switch into falsetto.
The melody starts mostly in the low range and might be hard to produce, but try singing like Omori-san: raise your eyebrows and imagine sending a lot of breath forward toward your eyebrows.
When switching from chest voice to falsetto, you’ll want to keep the resonance in the same place.
Similarly, use plenty of breath and aim to resonate around your eyebrows and head—sing gently and softly with a floating feel, and the transition will be smoother.
Keep that in mind!
Imperfectly in LoveKei Sugawara

Singer-songwriter Kei Sugawara has been active since the 2020s.
Her music falls under J-pop, but it leans somewhat heavily toward rock, with many energetic tracks.
Among her works, the one I especially recommend is “Imperfectly in Love.” It’s a song you often hear on TikTok and elsewhere.
The vocal line in this track doesn’t span a wide range, nor does it have drastic jumps in pitch.
The falsetto sections that appear between vocal phrases, which resemble scat, aren’t part of the main line and therefore aren’t counted in karaoke scoring.
It’s a great choice for those aiming for a high score.
IMA IMA IMAPerfume

Perfume’s new song “IMA IMA IMA.” Unlike their previous works, which leaned heavily into techno, this track centers on synthwave, a genre that hit it big in the 1980s.
The near-futuristic melody is striking, isn’t it? The vocal line is kept understated, evoking an urban vibe.
As a result, there aren’t any drastic pitch changes, making it easy for anyone to sing.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
