BeautifulSuperfly

This is “Beautiful,” included on Superfly’s fifth album, WHITE.

It was the theme song for the TBS drama Mother Game: Kanojo-tachi no Kaikyuu.

It’s a powerful track packed with Shiho Ochi’s strengths.

When that intro starts up at karaoke, it really gets you pumped!

Love Revolution 21 Morning Musume

Morning Musume tends to be seen as an idol group from a bygone era, but when it comes to idols, they’re still the group that comes to mind, so I’ll pick one of their songs.

Everyone can get hyped dancing together during the chorus.

I think people of any generation will definitely know it, so we can all have fun singing and dancing together.

Love♡Scream!AiScReam

If you’re a teen who wants to belt out something poppy and explosively cute at karaoke, I highly recommend “Ai♡Scream!” It’s the debut single from AiScReam, a limited-time unit from the Love Live! series, released in February 2025.

Just like the title suggests, it’s a love song that’s intensely sweet—like ice cream.

The spoken lines in the middle practically beg for call-and-response at concerts, and it’ll definitely hype up any karaoke session.

Having guys sing it together as a fun gag is totally a thing, too!

Sukicchu-no! feat. Chuutan (CV: Saori Hayami) / HoneyWorks
Sukicchu no! HoneyWorks feat. Chuutan

The song Sukitchuu no!, which gained nationwide popularity through platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts, is a track by HoneyWorks, known for their hit Kawaikute Gomen feat.

Chuutan.

Like Kawaikute Gomen, it puts an overtly cutesy charm front and center, but surprisingly, the vocal line is quite simple and the range is relatively narrow.

Compared to Kawaikute Gomen, the pitch movement in the melody is much more gentle, so even those who aren’t confident singers should be able to sing it without trouble.

Sketch Aimyon

Aimyon’s new song “Sketch.” Until a little while ago, she was releasing many slightly showy tracks that incorporated trendy J-pop, but lately she’s returned to her roots and has been focusing on folk.

This work is no exception, crafted into a gentle folk song that plays to her greatest strengths.

The vocal range is somewhat wide, but aside from a few phrases that use falsetto, it stays mostly in the midrange, making it very easy to sing overall.

It’s perfect for aiming for a high score at karaoke.

Feverish DemonI wish it could stay midnight forever.

ZUTOMAYO (Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni.) “Warmth Fever Demon” MV (ZUTOMAYO – Warmthaholic)
“ZUTOMAYO – Binenma (Slight Fever Witch).”

Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni is a band that enjoys immense popularity among women in their teens and early twenties.

Because the vocalist, ACA-ne, has a fairly high voice, people who aren’t confident with high notes might avoid their songs.

That’s why I recommend Binetsu-ma.

It may sound like a high-pitched track, but the actual vocal range isn’t very wide, so there’s no need to worry from a vocal technique standpoint.

The vocal line is fast in tempo, but the pitch movement is fairly simple, making it a song that’s relatively easy to aim for a high score on.

Don't cheat on me.Koresawa

Koresawa “Don’t You Cheat on Me” [Music Video]
Don’t cheat on me, Koresawa.

Koresawa, a female singer-songwriter known for lyrics that stir romantic feelings, has gained widespread popularity.

If you’re a woman in your twenties, chances are you’ve sung or listened to her songs at least once.

Among her tracks, the one I especially recommend is “Uwaki Shitara Akan de” (“Don’t You Dare Cheat”).

Although it has a pop feel, it actually has a very narrow vocal range, making it easy for any woman to sing.

And because each phrase is short, you won’t miss your cue after taking a breath.
