Songs that score high easily on karaoke for men in their 20s

In recent Japanese music, the popularity of K-pop and boy/girl groups has pushed the demand for vocal skills to very high levels.

If you often use karaoke scoring features, you might find that recent songs feel harder to sing.

So this time, we’ve selected songs that are especially easy to sing from among many recent tracks with high difficulty levels!

Along with the latest hits, we’ve also included classic crowd-pleasers that anyone can enjoy, so be sure to check them out to the end.

[For men in their 20s] Songs that score easily on karaoke (21–30)

Like the beginningRen

[PLANJ] ORIGINAL: 'Like the Beginning' – REN
Ren, like the beginning

This is a solo song by REN from JO1, whose official music video was released on July 23, 2025.

Overall, it has a calm vibe, with many long high notes mainly in falsetto.

If you focus on matching the pitch bar and sing carefully, you should be able to score high! For songs with continuous falsetto, breath control and core stability are crucial—shift your mindset from “projecting your voice” to “letting the breath flow.” First, engage your lower abdomen to keep your body steady and lift your facial muscles.

Imagining the sound traveling straight upward from the top of your head will improve the falsetto tone and make pitching easier.

There are some low notes in the latter half, but keep the same singing approach.

If you suddenly change where you place your voice, it can turn into a throaty sound and make it harder to stay on pitch, so be careful.

It’s a relatively short, three-minute song, so definitely give it some practice!

SEKAI NO OWARI often gives the impression of having many high-pitched songs, but the July 2025 release “Zukan” doesn’t feature belted high notes and has little range fluctuation, so it seems very scoring-friendly—you might even aim for a perfect 100.

The melody is also easy to remember since it’s structured with just verse A, verse B, and the chorus, without a new section like a bridge.

Overall, the vocal range, rhythm, and melody are clearly organized, so you don’t need any special techniques and can sing it at a relaxed pace.

To aim for 100 points, the first priority is matching pitch.

Try singing lightly with the image of lifting your facial muscles and eyebrows and sending the voice forward from just above the eyebrows.

Vocalist Fukase also tends to keep his eyebrows raised, so use that as a reference!

JingleYuma

Jingle Yuma

Yuma, who is active as the “good singer” of the YouTuber group Comdot, has a track called Jingle that my students often sang when their throats weren’t in great shape because it’s “easy to sing,” so I think it’s in a range that’s easy for others too.

Jingle’s vocal range is B2 to D#4, staying mostly in the low to mid range.

Of course, it builds from verse A to verse B to the chorus, but unlike other songs, the range doesn’t change much, so it might be easier to keep pitch.

It’s a perfect song for winter, so start practicing it now!

StargazeSixTONES

SixTONES’ “Stargaze” was released in July 2025.

Since it’s a group song, it features a wide range of vocal registers.

There are, of course, low notes, and it sounds cool as a solo, but dividing parts among several people works great too! With lyrics, composition, and production by Yojiro Noda of RADWIMPS, the rhythm has a unique feel, so it might be tricky to sing on sight.

Be sure to gather your fellow SixTONES fans and have fun singing it together!

Rhyme Wave Phrase DisciplesCHEHON

CHEHON – Inpakutto / THE FIRST TAKE

Osaka reggae anthem “Inbakuto.” I think it’s rare for people who were in their 20s to have enjoyed it in real time when it was released, but there are probably many who discovered it through CHEHON’s participation in MC battles.

Although the track is structured with few break points, its vocal range is narrow, so as long as you memorize the lyrics and flow, you should be able to sing it without any issues.

It’s a sure-fire hit for guys’ karaoke, so definitely add it to your repertoire.

PredatorAKASAKI

[AKASAKI] Predator (Lyric Video)
Predator AKASAKI

Starting her career as a singer-songwriter at the young age of 16, AKASAKI skyrocketed to fame when her 2024 release “Bunny Girl” became a massive viral hit.

Her songs, woven from the fresh sensibility unique to a teenager, a mature perspective, and outstanding songwriting talent, are all remarkable—so much so that not only her peers but also working adults in their 20s and beyond will find themselves wanting to sing them at karaoke.

The same goes for “Predator,” released in May 2025: it’s a killer tune that showcases AKASAKI’s signature taste, deftly blending a J-pop vibe reminiscent of the early Heisei era with a stylish, 2020s feel.

Its catchy hook will have you humming along after just one listen.

When singing it at karaoke, try delivering it lightly without overexerting, but avoid sounding too flat—be mindful of your breathing spots and aim for a smooth, flowing performance!

Hazy spring cats are liquid.

A four-piece rock band from Kyoto, Neko wa Ekitai.

Centered around orthodox Japanese rock, their work has been drawing attention in the scene.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend for men with low voices is Harugasumi.

Although the vocalist doesn’t have a particularly low voice—so it’s easy to overlook—this track is composed mostly in the mid-to-low range.

If you adjust the key, it can fully showcase the richness and warmth of a deep male voice.

Consider adding it to your repertoire.

In conclusion

This time, from among popular Japanese songs and the latest J‑pop, we recommended tracks that are particularly easy to score well on in karaoke for men in their 20s.

Compared to a while ago, though, songs built around low-end vocals have really decreased, haven’t they? If you have a low voice, you might have found this selection challenging as well.
