This piece is Peaches En Regalia, included on Frank Zappa’s second solo album, Hot Rats, released in 1969.

The album itself is a classic that has been featured by the well-known music review YouTuber The Needle Drop.

Five out of the six tracks are instrumentals, and among them this one later became a live staple and a celebrated favorite.

The track kicks off with a drum fill by Terry Bozzio, Zappa’s favorite drummer, and it’s incredibly cool! A huge variety of instruments appear throughout, but the woodwinds—such as saxophone and flute—are especially beautiful and leave a lasting impression.
