EusexuaFKA Twigs

FKA twigs, a British singer-songwriter known for her distinctive musicality.

This track draws inspiration from Prague’s underground techno scene, featuring striking minimal synth textures and sensual vocals.

Released in September 2024, it also serves as the title track of her album scheduled for January 2025, and stands as a symbol of her musical evolution.

It expresses a transcendent experience through art, music, and connection with others, inviting listeners on a journey of deep empathy and self-exploration.

Whether in a late-night club or a quiet room when you want to face yourself, this is a highly recommended song.

EuphoriaFULLJOS

FULLJOS – Euphoria (Original Mix) (TRANCE MUSIC)
EuphoriaFULLJOS

Spanish music producer Furuijos.

He’s known for highly original works rooted in a variety of electronic styles, including techno, house, EDM, and trance.

One of his standout psychedelic trance tracks is “Euphoria.” While many psytrance tracks build from a quiet intro and gradually raise the voltage, this one kicks off with an energetic beat right from the start.

It leans more toward the downer side of psytrance, making it a great pick for those who want to get fully immersed.

End of the BeginningFabien Tell

The piece “End of the Beginning” used in Kirin Beer’s Honshibori Chuhai “Nothing added, the natural taste of fruit” commercial is a work by Fabian Tell.

While he is a relatively minor composer globally, his approach to music is highly experimental, and in this piece as well, he weaves together major and minor modes to create a style reminiscent of contemporary music.

The violin leaves a particularly strong impression, so I imagine many listeners still have it stuck in their heads.

Eyes On MeFaye Wong

Final Fantasy VIII – Eyes On Me
Eyes On MeFaye Wong

Released in February 1999, this is Faye Wong’s third single, and it is also included on her second original album released the same year, “Zhang You ~Uta Asobi~.” The song portrays a man who is drawn to a singer and her voice, and who keeps going to the bar where she performs, depicting how the two gradually become attracted to each other.

In Japan, it is well known as the theme song for the game Final Fantasy VIII.

Endless SummerFennesz

The very title “Endless Summer” itself evokes a certain nostalgic atmosphere.

This is the title track from the masterpiece album Endless Summer, released in 2001 by Austrian guitarist and composer Christian Fennesz—known under the name “Fennesz” and noted for collaborations with Japanese artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Glitch noise scattered throughout and acoustic sounds from live instruments fuse with astonishing beauty, creating a piece that seems to transport the listener to another world.

It’s a stunning classic.

It also stands as a pioneering work and track in the folktronica that spread after the 2000s, and there’s no doubt it’s one of the important songs in the history of electronica.

At the same time, we should note that it was released by Mego, Austria’s prestigious label known for putting out many works by experimental artists.

It’s essential not to overlook its avant-garde character that sets it apart from mere mood-driven electronica, as well as its innovations as noise music.

Its nostalgic lyricism is never saccharine; rather, it carries a certain dryness—and that, too, is wonderful.

It blends nostalgia with a fresh feel, making it a great recommendation for newcomers to Western music.

Why not let their beautiful, supple harmonies soothe you?

EverywhereFleetwood Mac

It’s a straightforward, simple love song written by Christine McVie.

It was released as a single in 1987.

The music video is distinctive, inspired by the poem “The Highwayman,” and depicts the story of a traveler who falls in love with a landlord’s daughter.

The protagonist seems like a stalker, as if he’s aggressively courting her by saying “make me your boyfriend right away,” but in the video he deliberately signals his ambush and ultimately sacrifices his life for the one he loves.
