When it comes to English words that start with “H,” there are plenty—like “Help,” “Hello,” and “High,” to name a few.

All of them sound like they could be song titles, and if you’re a music lover, you might already have a few in mind.

Hit My Head All DayNEW!Dry Cleaning

Dry Cleaning, a British band highly acclaimed for their unique post‑punk sound that foregrounds spoken vocals, are set to release their long‑awaited new album Secret Love in January 2026.

The track introduced here is the lead single, a sprawling piece running over six minutes, produced by Cate Le Bon.

Centered on the anxieties of our era, shaken by misinformation on social media, the song weaves deadpan spoken delivery with a dubby bass and cutting guitar into an ensemble that’s cool yet simmering with intensity.

Having won a Grammy in 2024 for the packaging of their album Stumpwork, the band now present an even more honed sound—one that suggests great things to come.

Hi!NEW!Madeon

Madeon, the French producer known for his dazzling synth-pop—many of you may know his Grammy-nominated 2019 masterpiece Good Faith.

His new song, released in September 2025, is a truly shocking track that overturns his image from the ground up.

A sharp turn from his trademark dreamlike sound, this one explodes with distorted guitars and impulsive vocals—what he himself calls a “laptop rock” sound.

The raw energy, as if bidding farewell to his past self and declaring the dawn of a new era, is overwhelming.

It’s an incredibly cool piece that makes a perfect soundtrack for breaking out of a rut or instantly boosting your mood.

One of Sweden’s leading pop singers, Zara Larsson.

This track from her fifth album, “Midnight Sun,” released in September 2025, signals a bold new direction.

With a “no boys allowed” theme, it seems to portray a free, powerful space where women gather.

It opens with a groovy beat that blends ’80s electro and ’90s house, then surges into Y2K pop and hyperpop elements—an incredibly exciting progression.

Playful samples of lines from reality shows further turbocharge the track’s exhilarating vibe.

The energetic sound—reportedly driven by the artist herself in production—will be perfect for taking a party with friends to the next level.

HelloAdele

This song was covered by Taka from ONE OK ROCK, and one of my male students practiced it a lot in our lessons! It was the Taka version, but as he kept practicing, he was able to hit the high notes in the chorus cleanly and comfortably.

So it might be a good practice piece, and it’s also a song that feels amazing to sing once you can do it, so I recommend it! The A and B sections are basically low and gentle, but the chorus jumps into high notes, so the trick is to sing without tensing up.

You might feel like belting, but imagine sending the sound far out.

There are also falsetto ad-libs, so if you keep resonating in the space between your eyebrows and the top of your head, switching between chest voice and falsetto will become smoother.

Try to stay mindful of lifting your facial muscles as you sing!

Sister Act, a classic film that continues to be loved by many viewers, is a heartwarming music-centered movie in which a struggling singer transforms a convent choir so dramatically that she gradually gains recognition from the townspeople and the convent community.

The film features numerous iconic songs, and among them, the most memorable is surely Hail Holy Queen, the first piece performed by the newly evolved choir.

Although it’s a traditional Christian hymn, this rendition is arranged with a decidedly groovy and lively vibe.

As a choral piece, some parts feature frequent improvisational embellishments, but the basic main melody is fairly easy to sing—so consider adding it to your repertoire.

Kasabian, one of the bands that define the UK rock scene, command overwhelming popularity, with seven of their eight albums to date hitting No.

1 on the UK charts.

Even after a change in frontman, they continue to evolve, and they’ve now released a lead single from their forthcoming album Act III, due in September 2025.

As songwriter Sergio Pizzorno puts it, the record reflects his rediscovered love for the guitar, blending fuzz-drenched, hard-hitting riffs with a psychedelic groove.

Lyrically, it explores a contemporary mindset that seeks escape from reality through fleeting pleasures, while hinting at the emptiness that lies beneath.

The band has also announced the largest show of their career, and this track delivers a powerful sound that embodies that momentum.

Nemo, the Swiss artist who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024 and shot to global fame.

A multitalented figure who has been immersed in violin and operatic singing since childhood, they’re also known as the first openly nonbinary winner.

In September 2025, they released a track from their long-awaited debut album, Arthouse.

The song captures the “magic” of being completely swept away by someone.

Built on groovy electropop, with occasional horror-tinged sound effects and dramatic vocals, it crafts a mysterious, playful sonic world.

If you enjoy art pop that freely crosses genres—think Prince or Björk—you’ll likely be captivated by this compelling sound.
