When autumn comes, many people crave stylish, nostalgic songs.
For you, I recommend Ella Mai’s “Shot Clock.” Her uniquely bittersweet vocals pair perfectly with the nostalgic backing, letting you feel that November autumn vibe through your ears.

My Silver LiningFirst Aid Kit

First Aid Kit is a female singer-songwriter duo from Sweden.
Their group name is striking, but above all, their songs are incredible.
Beautiful harmonies, tracks full of ideas, and melodies that stick in your head—each element feels fresh and far from ordinary.
It’s a work whose acoustic guitar arpeggios evoke the stark, wintry winds of Scandinavia.
NovemberGabrielle Aplin

Gabrielle Aplin, a British singer-songwriter who is also well known in Japan—partly thanks to having sung a song produced by singer-songwriter Ayaka—released this track, November, in 2013.
When she wrote it, she started by expanding a story from a single line of lyrics that came to her first.
The story goes: “The protagonist, who used to love November, now finds it painful because of a certain heartbreak.” It’s a song that blends a refreshing feel with a sense of poignancy and sadness.
