Their straightforward sound never fades with the years or decades—it’s just incredibly cool and electrifying.
I recommend them even to those who aren’t very familiar with punk rock.

The Coral is a band from Liverpool, England—the same hometown as The Beatles and Elvis Costello.
They revived a psychedelic rock sound popular in the late 1960s in 2002, which made waves at the time.
ZombieThe Cranberries

The Cranberries are a rock band from Ireland that were popular in the 1990s.
While pop-leaning acoustic songs are also a hallmark of the band, their anti-war song “Zombie,” which addresses the Northern Ireland conflict, became a major talking point with its dark, heavy 1990s sound.
Hotel CaliforniaThe Eagles

Wouldn’t they be considered one of the bands that represent the 1970s? Debuting in 1971, the American rock band the Eagles rose to popularity with a country rock style that incorporated elements of country music and folk.

The Mars Volta is a rock band from Texas, USA, formed by two former members of the post-hardcore band At The Drive-In.
Centered around an emo/screamo approach and incorporating elements of Latin music, salsa, dub techno, and metal, they continued to release ambitious, progressive rock–style epics.

The Offspring is a pop-punk band from California, USA.
Alongside Green Day, they sparked the punk boom of the 1990s, and the album Americana, which includes this song, became a massive hit, selling over 10 million copies.
EchoesThe Rapture

The Rapture are a leading dance-punk band from New York, USA, who debuted in 1999.
At the time, their approach of performing dance music with a live band sound was innovative, and they received very high praise from music media.
