The Gong of KnockoutFear, and Loathing in Las Vegas

A track by the five-piece band Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas, known for incorporating trance elements.
It was selected as the opening theme for the anime Baki, based on Keisuke Itagaki’s manga.
The song overflows with speed and exhilaration that perfectly suit a fighting manga.
So’s fiercely screamed vocals seem to embody the powerful combat depicted in the anime, making it seriously cool!
first deathTK from Ling tosite sigure

Speaking of Chainsaw Man, it also made waves with its project featuring a different artist providing the ending theme for each episode.
The ending theme for Episode 8 was done by TK from Ling tosite sigure.
Its title is “first death.” The song touches on a particularly shocking scene from Episode 8.
Since it could be a spoiler, if you’re in the middle of watching the anime, it might be best to watch Episode 8 first and then listen to the full track.
Sarracenia (Prod. Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai)SKY-HI

Created as the opening theme for the anime Baki Hanma: The Father vs.
Son Saga, SKY-HI’s song carries a powerful message about confidence, challenge, and self-actualization.
The lyrics criticize half-hearted resolve and superficial realism, questioning the true source of genuine confidence.
They stress the importance of turning adversity and hardship into nourishment for growth and of constantly surpassing oneself in pursuit of true ability.
It teaches the value of following the path you believe in, resonating with anyone striving toward their dreams and goals.
OverloadYuna Fukanehara

“Overload,” which was selected as the opening theme for Season 2 of the anime “Kyoukai Senki,” a series depicting intense robot battles.
The song is performed by singer Yuna Fukinbara, who gained attention through appearances on music variety shows such as “Ongaku Champ.” The beautiful synth tones etched into the danceable beat are striking.
It’s a powerful piece of electronica that perfectly matches a work portraying fierce combat.
You can feel the passion in her supple yet strong vocals.
Why not give it a listen alongside the heart-pounding battle scenes?
Burning HeroHiroyuki Okita

A towering landmark of anime songs that sings of dreams and passion over samba rhythms and a catchy melody! This masterpiece briskly and humorously portrays the presence, skill, and influence of an ace player.
Hiroyuki Okita’s refreshing vocals brilliantly capture the allure of soccer and the throbbing energy of youth.
Released in 1983 as the opening theme for the TV Tokyo anime Captain Tsubasa, it became a classic that helped spark the soccer boom.
In 2018, it was remade by Ryuhei Maruyama of Kanjani Eight.
It’s a song that powerfully pushes the backs of everyone striving toward their dreams—not just soccer fans—and one we highly recommend you listen to.
MONTAGEKento Nakajima

I’m drawn to its grand sense of scale and refined sound.
“MONTAGE” was released in May 2025 and was chosen as the opening theme for the TV anime “The After-Dinner Mysteries.” The composition is by Hiroyuki Sawano, known for works like “Attack on Titan” and “Mobile Suit Gundam.” The fusion of a mysterious atmosphere with a danceable rhythm is striking, and Kento Nakajima’s expressively rich vocals are another highlight.
The thrilling melody that echoes the anime’s story is superb as well.
Be sure to listen closely and immerse yourself in its world.
TONIGHT,TONIGHT,TONIGHTBEAT CRUSADERS

BEAT CRUSADERS, a five-member rock band that gained popularity with songs adding a unique edge to classic pop rock.
Their single released in September 2006 was used as the opening theme for the TV anime BLEACH, which helped bring the band’s name to a wider audience.
The driving, straightforward beat and fiery melody deliver a refreshing rush that perfectly fits an anime opening, heightening anticipation for the next episode.
It’s a gem of a rock tune, whose cool band ensemble will send shivers down your spine.
