An epic hip-hop track by Peanut-kun.
Its mythic worldbuilding and lyrics that convey nothing but love are somehow both cool and laugh-inducing.
Performed during the December 2024 YouTube stream “Katana-P Christmas 2024,” it became a hot topic.
It’s the annual love song from Peanut-kun to Nijisanji’s Tohya Kenmochi.
The meticulously crafted flow and lyrics are so authentic they’re overwhelming.

Heart-Pounding Summer DaysHikaru Genji

This is a number by Hikaru GENJI, memorable for its heart-pounding melody line.
The lyrics vividly capture the thrill of a budding romance under the midsummer sun, sure to make listeners’ hearts flutter.
The vocals, brimming with dreams and hope, together with the exhilarating sound, seem to herald the arrival of summer.
Included on the mini-album “Hito Natsu Hito Yo,” released in July 1991, it was also beloved as an insert song on the children’s program “Hirake! Ponkikki.” It’s perfect for those moments when you want to recall a sparkling page of youth.
DreamerLaufey

This is a single released in September 2023 by Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey from her album “Bewitched.” The song portrays a woman who, despite experiencing romantic disappointment, never loses her sense of wonder.
The lyrics include the phrase “Milky Way,” conjuring a beautiful, starry-world atmosphere.
With her distinctive blend of jazz and pop, the track begins with a gentle piano and gradually expands into a richer soundscape, highlighted by a warm, Ella Fitzgerald–evoking vocal.
It’s a perfect classic for nights spent gazing at the stars, moments of romantic turmoil, or times when you want to find new hope.
DON’T FORGET MY NAMEShota Shimizu

A deeply resonant ballad by Shota Shimizu.
Released in May 2025, it serves as the lead track on the album “Pulsatilla cernua.” The song conveys an earnest desire for listeners not to forget their bonds with loved ones, even while walking a solitary path.
The music video’s beautiful visuals set in the city of Osaka are also striking.
It’s a song that offers comfort to those facing a turning point in life or thinking of someone dear who lives far away.
Do you… ?storm

The lead track from the album “This is Arashi,” released in November 2020.
Marked by a groovy, danceable sound, this special work is the first since 2008’s “Step and Go” to purely portray the relationship between Arashi and their fans.
Themes like “love” and an “unwavering heart” are sung with power, reaffirming the message they have consistently cherished since their debut.
Serving as a culmination before their hiatus, this song is perfect for moments when you want to make a fresh start or deepen bonds with your friends.
DON’T STOP BELIEVINGZIGGY

ZIGGY is a band that greatly energized the rock scene of the 1980s.
Known for bright, powerful songs that embody classic rock ’n’ roll, they’ve released many tracks over the years.
Among ZIGGY’s songs, the one I especially recommend for men in their 50s is “DON’T STOP BELIEVING.” While the vocals aren’t particularly low, no part goes beyond the mid-range, and there aren’t many long sustained notes, making the vocal lines quite easy to sing.
DUA・RHYTHMChevon

Chevon will release this ambitious work in May 2025, featuring an experimental sound woven from a heavy bassline and intricate rhythms.
Grounded in alternative rock and enriched with elements of electronica and post-rock, its inventive arrangements blend seamlessly with vocalist Mayu Taniginu’s powerful yet delicate voice.
The philosophical lyrics explore boundaries between opposing elements—day and night, land and sea—adding to its allure.
For the April–June 2025 season, Chevon provided the theme song for the Nippon TV drama “#Dame Mane!” in collaboration with Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, boosting their media presence.
It’s a perfect track for listeners seeking a stimulating everyday music experience or those who gravitate toward songs with deep, meaningful messages.
