Ghost of a smileEGOIST

The theme song of the anime film “Harmony.” One of the original full-length novels left behind by Keikaku Ito, a novelist who died young at 34.
Harmony became his posthumous work.
It later won the Nihon SF Taisho Award—his first time receiving an award posthumously—and the Special Citation of the Philip K.
Dick Award in the United States.
It starts with such a relaxed tempo that you might call it a ballad, making it very characteristic of an EGOIST song.
Inori-chan in the music video is also adorable.
KanadenaruEGOIST

The coupling track to “Nameless Monster.” Its gossip-tinged style carries a heartrending melody and lyrics that feel like a lament, piercing the heart.
It’s a song that’s a complete 180 from “Nameless Monster.” It left me with the impression of fantastical lyrics.

departures ~A Song of Love Sent to You~EGOIST

The ending theme of the TV anime Guilty Crown.
It’s a song that poignantly sings of feelings for a loved one you can no longer meet.
The quirks of someone you adore, the way you make up after a fight—scenes that come to mind precisely because you were together for so long.
Such content gently brings tears to your eyes.
elbadaernUEGOIST

The word “elbadaernU” doesn’t actually exist, but it seems like “Unreadable” reversed.
Literally, it means “unreadable” or “hard to read.” It feels like a techno-pop kind of track with a fast tempo.
100 phenomena to let your thoughts wanderEGOIST

This is a song included as the 9th track on the 1st album, “Extra terrestrial Biological Entities.” It’s a bittersweet yet heart-fluttering song.
It expresses everyday, ordinary moments and feelings toward the other person through its lyrics.
Ce que j’aime 〜inori no kyuuzitu〜EGOIST

This is a song included as the 8th track on the 1st album, “Extra terrestrial Biological Entities.” When I first listened to it, my impression was that it was a cute, Inori-like song.
It’s a short piece, but it’s packed with Inori’s charm.
The Lamp of Original SinEGOIST

This is the first track on the 1st album, “Extra terrestrial Biological Entities.” It’s a song that really feels like Inori, starting with a cappella.
Since it’s a slow song, it resonates deeply with the heart.
From the very first track of the album, it completely captures you.
