A collection of stylish Vocaloid songs: The moving world of VOCALOID

There are truly countless songs in the VOCALOID scene, but in this article, I’ve put together a selection of especially stylish tracks.

Of course, “stylish” means different things to different people, so I’ve tried to choose from a wide range of genres without drawing sharp boundaries.

So there should definitely be something in the style you like.

Check them all out to the end and find the number that moves your heart.

A Stylish Vocaloid Song Collection: The Moving World of VOCALOID (91–100)

Goodbye, MoonYuunosuke × zeroth

Goodbye, Moon / Yunosuke × zeroth feat. Narukami Hime
Goodbye Moon Mr. Yuunosuke × zeroth

An ethereal and beautiful electronic tune that feels like it melts into the night sky.

It’s a collaborative work by Yunosuke—known for tracks like “PaⅢ.

SENSATION”—and zeroth, who’s active in the club scene, released in August 2025.

It ranked 23rd in the VOCALOID Collection Summer 2025 TOP 100.

The delicate yet club-oriented sound arrangement, born from the fusion of their distinct styles, is simply superb.

This piece is perfect for quiet nights when you want to take time to reflect.

Why not let yourself drift on its waves of sound?

whining and dawdlingYoshihisa Hirata

This is a work crafted by Yoshihisa Hirata that sings of the frustration of clumsy love.

The piece is included on the album “Nights of Japan,” released in July 2025.

The protagonist, who hurts someone important by putting on a brave face and despises himself for his own foolishness, is portrayed through Gekiyak’s wistful vocals.

It’s also characterized by a mature sound built around acoustic instruments.

One listen is enough to leave you pondering the story this song contains.

A Stylish Vocaloid Song Special: The Moving World of VOCALOID (101–110)

drop pop candyGiga

It’s the male-female twin-vocal track “drop pop candy.” It has a sparkly, stylish vibe.

The uptempo beat makes it fun to listen to and to sing.

Amid a near-futuristic atmosphere, it blends in sounds reminiscent of retro video games, which feels incredibly satisfying.

Among Vocaloid songs, this track shines with a uniquely striking charm—be sure to give it a listen!

A fool issasakure.UK

A Fool Is feat. Hatsune Miku / A Fool is… feat. Hatsune Miku
A fool is sasakure.UK

The light, breezy melody and the boldness of the lyrics are irresistible.

It’s the song I want to listen to when nothing is going right, to remind me, “And that’s okay!” In the climactic scene, the shift from an anxiety-stirring tone to a refreshingly exhilarating chorus feels like the world suddenly opening up before your eyes.

Please enjoy that progression to the fullest.

UniverseTakaaki Natsushiro

This is Takaaki Natsushiro’s debut work as a Vocaloid producer.

It was released in 2016.

While it’s a refreshing guitar rock track with a sense of speed, the piano phrases give the entire song a stylish vibe.

It’s a positive Vocaloid song that I especially recommend to teenage students.

Exploding Brain Girlreruriri

Brain Fluid Explosion Girl – rerulili feat. Hatsune Miku & GUMI
Exploding Brains Girl rerulili

A song that could be called the pinnacle of VOCALOID music—so influential it even got a book and a film adaptation.

The Vocaloid producer Rerulili is a maverick who drew attention from their debut, but this track sent their popularity skyrocketing.

Brain Fluid Explosion Girl is bursting with so much charm it can’t be contained on the page, and the ultra high-speed sound and melody—the very definition of “This is VOCALOID!”—will have you hooked after just one listen.

The word choices in the lyrics are stylish and deep enough to make you think, “What could this mean?” In any case, just give it a listen! By the way, the film features Hinata Kashiwagi from the idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku and actress Seika Taketomi.

Kowloon RetroToma

Kowloon Retro – Sung by [SymaG]
Kowloon Retro Toma

The title is so mysterious that you can’t help but be drawn in.

As you follow the steady, understated melody and lyrics that feel like a list of words, the nearly three and a half minutes fly by in no time.

Recommended for those who want to savor a decadent atmosphere.

It was released in 2012.
