Akari Nanawo is a pop singer who has risen to prominence in recent years.

She’s especially popular among teenage girls, winning fans with her catchy lyrics and bright, pop vocals.

Among her works, the one I particularly recommend is “Ashita no Watashi ni Sachi Are” (Best Wishes to Tomorrow’s Me).

The chorus includes a brief, noticeably higher passage, but it stays within chest voice range, so as long as you can track the pitch accurately, it shouldn’t pose a challenge.

Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.

“Floriginal,” the third track included on the single “Soranji,” was produced as a collaboration song for PARFA TUNE, a fragrance-and-music project by Fits Corporation.

Although it’s a coupling track, it reportedly has a music video as well.

The song has a very wide vocal range (A#2–D5), but when you actually listen, it mainly uses the mid-to-low range, and the highest note appears only once in falsetto just before the final chorus.

With a relaxed tempo of 100, it’s a song you can enjoy singing in chest voice.

For the chorus, try placing the accent slightly ahead of the beat at the start—pushing into it a bit helps you lock into the rhythm cleanly.

Also, be careful not to let the pitch drop too low in the low notes of the A and B sections.

Like Omori-san, raise your eyebrows firmly and sing so the sound resonates between your eyebrows!

EdisonWednesday Campanella

They’re popular across a wide range of generations—from hardcore techno fans to more visually oriented general audiences—but if we’re talking about their most popular works, wouldn’t it have to be “Edison”? It showcases the cuteness of a female vocal to the fullest, while also conveying a certain fragile quality.

The vocal line is very feminine, but the range is not very wide at mid2B to hiC#, so definitely give it a try.

Renacer Serenade Momoiro Clover Z

Momoiro Clover Z is an idol group that continues to enjoy strong support from many listeners.

Their performances have improved year by year, and compared to their early days, their vocal ability has become remarkably polished.

Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Renacer Serenade.

Since Motoki Omori of Mrs.

GREEN APPLE composed it, you can hear the signature “Mrs.” style bursting out all over the track.

Unlike many Mrs.

GREEN APPLE songs, it doesn’t demand ultra-high notes, so even those who struggle with high ranges can sing it with confidence.

If it still feels high, I recommend lowering the key by two or three semitones.

A school-themed Idolmaster popular among teens and people in their twenties.

Many of my students play this game, and lots of them chose its songs for lessons.

This time, Star-mine isn’t a solo track—it’s a unit song! Overall, the key sits comfortably for female voices, but the highest note is a high G# (G#5), which appears at the end of the chorus.

Hitting a high G# after sustained singing can be tricky, so aim to produce it in full head voice, sending a focused, thin tone straight upward as if from above your head, and make sure to project your breath firmly.

If it’s hard to do within the song, practice just that note first.

Since it’s an idol song, it could be fun to gather fans of Gakumas and split the parts! Enjoy singing it!

Ano-chan is such a prominent personality that there’s hardly a day you don’t see her on TV.

She’s also active as a singer, releasing numerous hit tracks under the name ano.

Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Chu, Tayōsei.

It features a cute, Chinese pop-inspired melody, and while the vocal range is high (mid2 A# to hi C#), it’s relatively narrow overall.

It’s easy to sing, yet undeniably adorable—two qualities the track captures perfectly.

Please forget it.Yorushika

Yorushika’s famous song “Please Forget.” While Yorushika spans a wide range of musical styles, isn’t their most compelling side ultimately their ennui-tinged aesthetic? This piece is an achingly melancholic track that showcases that very charm.

Its distinct, surreal performance makes effective use of silence, and the gentle vocal line sung in a whispery voice is uniquely characteristic yet very simple.

It might sound like a demanding song, but the vocal range is actually quite narrow, so as long as you set it to a suitable key, anyone can sing it without trouble.
