A classic by Yumi Matsutoya that gently sings of spring’s arrival.
Its lyrics, which beautifully portray the fragile scent of blossoms and feelings for someone unforgettable, resonate deeply.
Released in October 1994 as the theme song for an NHK morning drama series, it reached No.

164 million copies sold.
Beloved as a school graduation song and even included in textbooks, it’s cherished across generations.

Spring DayAimyon

A song that sinks gently into the heart along with the warmth of spring.
Aimyon’s clear, translucent voice tenderly embraces the feelings of those embarking on a new chapter.
Released in September 2020, the track also drew attention as the theme song for the animated film Crayon Shin-chan.
Its lyrics, which carefully depict family bonds and everyday happiness, have resonated with many listeners.
Spring is a season when anticipation and anxiety about new beginnings are intertwined.
If you’re carrying those feelings as you try to take your first step forward, this work will gently give you a supportive push.
green leavesMotohiro Hata, TOMOO

A gentle, piano-centered piece that delicately portrays the shift from spring to summer.
The subtle vocals of Motohiro Hata and TOMOO blend beautifully.
It was included on the album “HATA EXPO -The Collaboration Album-,” released in November 2024.
The lyrics—interweaving the cycles of the seasons and the changes of life, memories and regrets of the past, and hopes for the future—resonate deeply.

If It SnowsDREAMS COME TRUE

It’s a winter song by Dreams Come True, and I think many people can relate to its very bittersweet lyrics.
Adult love can be painful—especially when it’s unrequited.
When the other person has a partner or a family, special days like Christmas become even harder.
This song carries those feelings.
Winter fallL’Arc〜en〜Ciel

This song is L’Arc~en~Ciel’s eighth single.
Ken, who composed it, said he created it with summer in mind, but hyde, who wrote the lyrics, gave it words inspired by winter.
It was also their first single after drummer yukihiro officially joined the band.
The hottest summer in the worldPRINCESS PRINCESS

It was once released as a single back in 1987 when they were still unknown, and after they broke through with “DIAMOND,” the song was released again as a single.
PRINCESS PRINCESS was also a trailblazing band that changed history, becoming the first all-female band to perform at the Budokan, among other achievements.
summer festivalWhiteberry

Originally a single released by JITTERIN’JINN in 1990, the song became popular when Whiteberry covered it.
Many people might not know that.
Most of the singles Whiteberry released afterward were also cover songs, but this one became their biggest hit.
