HarukaYOASOBI

A perfect song for the season that makes your heart dance with the arrival of spring.
Based on Osamu Suzuki’s novel “Tsuki Ōji” and crafted by YOASOBI, it overflows with storytelling.
The lyrics, which depict a 14-year bond between Haruka—who is in middle school—and a special mug, are sure to make your heart swell.
Released on December 18, 2020, it debuted at No.
5 on the Billboard Japan Download Songs chart.
It also surpassed 100 million streams, capturing the hearts of many listeners.
It’s a song you’ll want to hear if you’re starting a new chapter in life or have experienced a farewell with someone important.
Wrapped in warm vocals, it will give you the courage to take a new step forward.
fireworksaiko

This song is Aiko’s third single.
It’s said that “Hanabi” was written when she became busy after her debut, couldn’t go to any fireworks festivals, and was feeling down.
The “fireworks” in the lyrics are likened to the fireworks of Osaka’s Tenjin Matsuri, and in 2013 it was chosen as the departure melody for JR Osaka Loop Line’s Temma Station, where it is still used today.

One-room DiscoPerfume

It’s a song with the theme of starting a new life in a new place in spring.
But the lyrics are a bit suggestive; rather than simply leaving one’s parents’ home to begin a new life, it’s a bittersweet song that, as the phrase “half a life” suggests, carries the meaning that something which used to be “one” has been split in two.
the first strong spring windNishina

A warm, spring-evoking song.
The gentle tones of the acoustic guitar and Nissina’s crystalline vocals softly envelop the listener’s heart.
Chosen as the theme for radiko’s new commercial, “Sound connects the past and the future,” the track was released as a digital single in March 2023.
Using cherry blossoms as a motif, it expresses the preciousness of what we only realize we’ve lost after it’s gone.
It’s a song that offers encouragement to those facing a season of graduation and farewells, and to those setting out on the next stage of their lives.
Carried on the spring breeze, it’s sure to reach your heart.
spring thunderbutterbur sprout

A stirring song by Fukunotou that depicts cherry blossom petals scattering along with thunder heralding the arrival of spring.
Released in May 1979, this piece was created by member Yasuyo Yamaki in hopes of his mother’s recovery from illness.
It’s also included on the album “Jinsei・Haru・Oudan,” and it has left a deep impression on many listeners.
With lyrics that symbolically express the preciousness and transience of life, it resonates in the hearts of those who hear it.
It’s a recommended track for anyone who wants to reflect on life and existence while sensing the arrival of spring.
Sakura KomachiNaoto Inti Raymi (feat. Kankan)

A collaborative track by Naoto Inti Raymi and Kankan that evokes the arrival of spring.
While incorporating traditional Japanese elements, this piece is arranged with a modern sound that leads listeners into the beginning of a new season.
It depicts cherry blossom petals dancing on the wind, expressing the cycle of encounters and farewells, and the transience of beauty.
Released digitally in March 2023, the song is a remake of a track from 17 years ago.
With an arrangement by the renowned Vocaloid producer Hyakkai Outo, it shines with renewed charm.
Let the heart-lifting melody that heralds spring guide your ears, and feel the subtle shifts of the seasons.
powder snowRemioromen

This song became Remioromen’s biggest hit.
It was used as an insert song in the drama “1 Litre of Tears,” and whenever it played during the tear-jerking scenes, I couldn’t help but burst into tears again.
It matched the drama perfectly.
