EdisonWednesday Campanella

Since the Reiwa era began, many “cute” songs have come out, but isn’t Wednesday Campanella’s “Edison” in a different league of cuteness? It was also the first mega-hit after Utaha took over as vocalist, and I think many people were surprised at the uniquely cute quality of her voice at the time.
Although a falsetto appears in the chorus, the pitch only goes up to hi C# and isn’t particularly difficult.
The chest-voice range is around mid2B to hi A, which isn’t especially wide.
Also, regarding the hi A notes, even if the pitch is a little off, it can help convey a youthful feel, so there’s no need to be overly strict about pitch.
Baby youYuka

Yuka’s fun songs make your heart dance just by listening.
Riding a rhythmic melody, they capture both the sweetness and the bittersweet ache of being in love.
With catchy lyrics, the feelings of someone who’s fallen in love really come through.
Released in January 2023, this track went viral mainly on social media and surpassed an astonishing 25 million streams.
It’s the perfect song for high schoolers who want to liven up a karaoke session—sing it with friends, and you’re sure to make great memories.

Guiltytuki.

Tuki.
, a singer-songwriter who went viral at 15 while still in junior high.
She’s now a second-year high school student, but as fellow junior high students, many of you probably still look up to who she was back then.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Guilty.
The chorus features falsetto, but even though it could be sung in chest voice, she deliberately chooses falsetto.
So if you’re a typical junior high school girl with an average vocal range, you should be able to sing it easily using a light mixed voice.
It’s her latest track, so if you want to get ahead of the trend early, this is a must-listen for junior high students!
Lost itemTatsuya Kitani

Tatsuya Kitani is a male singer-songwriter who enjoys overwhelming support from young people.
If you’re a junior high school student, regardless of gender, you’ve probably heard his songs at least once.
His new track, “Nakushimono,” features a bouncy, neo-soul-leaning, black-inflected groove, but shifts into orthodox J-pop when it hits the chorus.
There’s a falsetto part right before the chorus, and if you find that section difficult, I recommend adjusting the key so you can sing it in mix voice.
NO MONEY DANCEYabai T-Shirts Yasan

Even when your wallet’s feeling tight, this track will get your body moving before you know it! It’s a super upbeat song by Yabai T-Shirts Yasan, with lyrics that are a raw cry of “I want money,” delivered over an insanely catchy rock sound—honestly, it’s the best.
It’s included on the album “You need the Tank-top,” released in September 2020.
Perfect for those times when you’re broke but still want to get hyped at karaoke!
I want to be lovedYumcha
The work “Aisaretai,” which gained popularity mainly among teenagers, is a piece by Yumcha that portrays the feelings of a girl who can’t let go of her love for her somewhat deadbeat boyfriend.
While the lyrics are negative, the melody is brimming with pop charm, resulting in an overall bright tone.
Although the song is on the higher side, the vocal range itself isn’t particularly wide.
With proper key adjustment, most women should be able to sing it without issue.
Bunny GirlAKASAKI

This track, crafted by AKASAKI—who’s been drawing attention on social media—takes inspiration from Showa-era kayōkyoku.
Released in October 2024, it’s a captivating piece set in the nocturnal world, portraying temptation and the twists of romance.
In a world that shows a different face after dark, the protagonist’s wavering emotions about their relationship are expressed through electronic tones and a nostalgic melody.
Perfect for anyone looking to hype things up in class or club activities.
Perform it at karaoke, and you’re guaranteed to have everyone hooked.
