Hold the moonFTISLAND

“Hold the moon,” included on FTISLAND’s album PLANET BONDS, features a sparkling, gentle melody that feels like watching a planetarium and lets you sense the warm light of the moon.

The lyrics, which convey the desire to embrace you and protect you with a vast, all-encompassing love—as if cradling the moon—are wonderfully romantic! If someone whispered such beautiful words of love on a lovely night with the moon shining, you’d definitely get serious butterflies.

Highly recommended for those who want to feel their heart flutter while gazing at the moon.

A night when stars fallFUKI

FUKI – Starry Night (“JULIDY” Lyric Video)
A Night When Stars Fall FUKI

A summer song by FUKI, whose natural, warm singing voice is so appealing.

When you look up at the night sky, you can’t help but picture the face of someone you love and feel a flutter in your chest.

On a summer night when it feels like the stars might spill from the sky—especially if it’s Tanabata—it’s even more magical.

You don’t need gifts or anything special; you just want to be together.

This is a song you’ll want to listen to while thinking of that person.

I just had a love sadder than anyone else's.Flower

Flower “Just a Love Sadder Than Anyone Else’s” out 9/14. Best album: “THIS IS Flower THIS IS BEST.”
I just had a sadder love than anyone else, Flower

This is a song by Flower, a female dance-vocal group that unfortunately disbanded in 2019.

From the title, “I Just Had a Sadder Love Than Someone Else,” you can keenly feel the heartache of an unfulfilled love.

The melody is a ballad characteristic of the LDH groups, and the clear, soaring female vocals not only add beauty but also highlight the sorrow of a love that cannot come true.

In the lyrics, the female protagonist seems to have fallen for a man who has feelings for another woman, and the way she struggles to shake off her lingering attachment while bearing the pain brings tears to your eyes.

They later moved to Warner Music Japan and released the album “ULTIMATE SACRIFICE,” solidifying their position as a top runner in J-METAL.

With exceptional musicianship and a constant drive to take on new challenges, they have earned strong support from fans both in Japan and overseas.

White RoadGLAY

A memorable song with a beautiful melody that evokes a snowy winter night and lyrics that resonate deeply.

Released in December 2004 as GLAY’s 32nd single, it’s a ballad that also lends its title to the track.

TERU’s achingly powerful, soaring vocals shine, giving the piece GLAY’s signature, timeless appeal.

Filled with feelings for one’s hometown and loved ones, it’s a heartwarming ballad perfect for the cold winter season.

It’s a romantic song you’ll want to play on Christmas night while spending time with someone special.

When singing it at karaoke, we recommend delivering it gently while thinking of your hometown.

On a night when stars fallGReeeeN

GReeeeN has many songs with straightforward Japanese lyrics that let you visualize a drama-like storyline.

This track is also a number that brings a story to mind, as if you’re reading it page by page.

It was included as the B-side to the 2012 single “Yuki no Ne” (Snow Sound).

It’s a heartbreaking song that will especially hit home for those in long-distance relationships or those who’ve left their hometown.

It’s the kind of song you’ll suddenly want to listen to at the busy end of the year, when someone special comes to mind.

HOWEVERHISASHI

When you think of GLAY’s members, the image of them being from Hokkaido is strong, but guitarist HISASHI is actually from Aomori Prefecture.

That said, he moved to Hokkaido in the fourth grade of elementary school.

After TAKURO and TERU formed GLAY in 1988, HISASHI joined the band.

Although he has continued to be active with GLAY as an original member since its early days, he also plays guitar in various other bands such as rally and ACE OF SPADES.
