This is a song included on Shogo Hamada’s 1996 album “The Door for the Blue Sky.” It seems to have been created with the image of Kita-Kamakura, which has many famous hydrangea spots, starting with Meigetsu-in.

Yokohama City Song (Blues Version)Mikiko Mori

The capital of Kanagawa Prefecture is the city of Yokohama.
Its city song was composed in 1909, giving it a longer history than the prefectural anthem, Hikari Aratani.
Because it’s sung at events like school graduation ceremonies, there’s probably no citizen who doesn’t know it.

Elegy of ShichirigahamaChieko Baisho
In 1910, a tragic accident occurred when a boat carrying students from Zushi Kaisei Junior High School in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, capsized.
As a requiem for the victims, a song titled “Elegy of Shichirigahama,” also known as “Mashiroki Fuji no Ne,” was composed.
Many musicians have sung it, and this is the version performed by Chieko Baisho.

“Yokohama Boy Style” is the 11th single released by the female idol group CoCo, and at the time of its release it became the image song for the Yokohama BayStars (later the Yokohama DeNA BayStars), who had just changed their name from the Yokohama Taiyo Whales.
