Kiss Me AgainNEW!Hi-STANDARD

It’s a heartwarming classic that opens with an unforgettable guitar riff.

“If I grow old and my appearance changes completely, will you still love me the same?” It expresses that slightly anxious yet straightforward question.

It’s filled with a pure, pure wish to “stay by my side forever.” Their unique charm lies in setting such innocent, earnest feelings to a fast-paced, melodic punk sound.

This track appears on the masterpiece Growing Up, released in November 1995.

It’s a song for everyone who, when thinking about the future with someone special, wants to believe in an unchanging love.

Cutie HoneyNEW!Kumi Koda

Kumi Koda - “Cutie Honey” ~ 20th Year Special Full Ver. ~
Cutie Honey NEW! Koda Kumi

If you want a song to get everyone hyped, I recommend Cutie Honey.

It’s known across generations, so it’s a blast to sing at karaoke! Since many people are already familiar with the tune, you can probably breeze through it even if you’re not confident in your pitch.

The chorus does go a bit higher, so try to keep relaxed and avoid forcing your voice.

That said, this is a song where vibe matters more than vocal technique—if you move your body and use hand gestures to the rhythm, the tension naturally eases and it becomes much easier to sing! In fact, for people who aren’t used to karaoke, gestures are surprisingly important.

Standing stiff will almost always make you sing from your throat, so I highly recommend moving your body to the beat.

You’ll have a great time—don’t be shy, give it a try!

Ikimonogakari “Kimagure Romantic” Music Video
Capricious Romantic by Ikimonogakari

Kimagure Romantic is a song that makes everyone want to sing along.

There’s a simple bit of choreography in the chorus, so it’s guaranteed to hype up a karaoke session, and it’s a song that’s fun for listeners too! The overall vocal range is A3–D5; the highest note only appears briefly in the chorus, so the range is manageable overall.

The A melody isn’t high, so it’s good to sing it lightly, almost like you’re speaking.

From the B melody it gets more rhythmic, so keep a solid sense of tempo and be careful not to rush.

If you calmly cut off notes where they should end, you’ll lock into the groove.

The chorus has choreography and is easy to get carried away with, so be careful not to speed up the tempo.

At a karaoke event held by the vocal training school I used to belong to, one of the students sang this song, and everyone started doing the chorus moves—it got super lively and was a lot of fun.

Definitely give this song a try!

To Your TownNEW!ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

It’s perfect for winter nights when you’re thinking of someone dear.

Q-vismNEW!Who-ya Extended

Isn’t that exhilarating sense of speed from the very beginning just irresistible? The fusion of hard-edged guitars with electronic sounds makes for an insanely cool finish.

The lyrics, which question one’s sense of purpose and how to face society, perfectly match the story of seeking justice in a controlled society.

The high-tone vocals pierce the heart like the inner cries of conflicted characters.

This was the debut work of the creators’ unit Who-ya Extended, released as a single in November 2019.

It was used as the opening theme for the anime PSYCHO-PASS 3.

If you’re an anisong fan who needs more than just pure heat, you’ve got to give it a listen.
