Included on the 15th album “GUYS,” the song “As Wild Strawberries Sway” was used the following year, in 1993, as a theme for a Japan Airlines image commercial.
The lyrics, said to be written to the artist’s future self under the theme of “looking back on the past,” are likely to resonate with many listeners who see themselves in them.
The relaxed tempo makes it easy to sing calmly, but be careful with the occasional melodic leaps, which can cause pitch inaccuracies.

Led by Ryo Konishi, who studied music in the United States, the band exudes a one-of-a-kind sense in both rhythm and melody.
The drummer’s groove, in particular, is incredibly cool.
