Songs with titles starting with “No” (Perfect for karaoke and shiritori!)

You probably can’t immediately think of many song titles that start with “no,” can you?

There are relatively many words you don’t often hear in everyday life, and lots of them have English titles.

Things like “Nobody…,” “Note,” “NOT…,” and so on.

There are also memorable masterpiece tracks that symbolize the artists themselves.

I’ve put together a list of song titles that might be useful when you want to look something up—just a bit…!

Feel free to use it not only when you’re curious about what songs start with “no,” but also as a prompt for shiritori word games or when choosing songs at karaoke.

The 17th single by UVERworld, a six-member rock band known for their passionate, straightforward lyrics that have earned them the label “a band that makes men cry,” and for a robust yet delicate rock sound that’s won fans primarily through their live performances.

The bold lyrics, drawn from their own experiences and emotions, and the rapidly unfolding ensemble really crank up the adrenaline.

Their message—publicly declaring your dreams and goals and living to see them through—is something many men will admire and relate to.

It’s a modern rock tune that ignites the heart, packed with an ideal vision of how a man might live.

NOISEWurtS

WurtS – NOISE (Music Video) [Theme Song for the Film “Blue Period”]
NOISEWurtS

The artist WurtS is known for his strong self-production skills.

While he sometimes releases stylish tracks influenced by Japanese rock, he basically puts out songs that bring out the appeal of J-rock.

Among his works, the one I especially recommend as an easy song to score 100 on is “NOISE.” It’s characterized by a downbeat yet passionate rock sound reminiscent of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.

The vocal line is simple and mainly in the lower register, so although it’s loud, it’s a track where aiming for a perfect score is relatively easy.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA – Not The American Average (Official Music Video)
Not The American AverageAsking Alexandria

It’s a song by a popular British alternative rock band known for their extreme and distinctive musical style.

The track mixes intense shouts with gentle, ballad-like passages, making it far too difficult for ordinary people to sing well, so I think it would be embarrassing to try it in front of others.

[Hatsune Miku] Keeping a Cat in My Mind – beco
Beco, who keeps a cat in his mind

If you like band sounds and upbeat dance rock, be sure to check this out! This Vocaloid track by beco—who has also released many instrumental numbers under the name “Noiseless World”—was published in March 2023 and was an entry for VocaColle Spring 2023.

The riffs and phrases are fantastic; if you can play guitar, you’ll probably want to try them yourself.

The humorous, cat-themed lyrics are another highlight of its worldbuilding.

If you’re looking for a song to cover with your band, why not give it a shot?
