Marigold Aimyon

Aimyon is popular across all generations.

“Marigold” is also a hit that people in their 50s often sing at karaoke.

I have students of various ages, and many of them sing her other songs too! It seems Aimyon really resonates with everyone, regardless of gender or age.

Also, “Marigold” sits in a comfortable range of F#3 to B4, so it’s an easy song to sing with a melody that’s simple for anyone to pick up.

If you think you’re tone-deaf, you might get nervous when holding the mic, but try not to tense up—sway gently side to side and sing lightly.

It helps you relax, and I recommend it! This can be especially good in karaoke settings with younger people around.

If you say, “Everyone, sing along with me,” you’ll feel even more at ease, so just be natural and enjoy singing!

A classic karaoke song that everyone knows, released by Spitz in 1996.

Although it wasn’t tied to any promotion, it became a million-seller and remains a beloved masterpiece sung by people of all ages to this day.

All the chorus parts were also performed by the vocalist, Masamune Kusano.

This song gently portrays a heartrending farewell, highlighting Masaki Suda’s transparent vocals and delicate expressiveness.

Released in February 2018, it also drew attention as the theme song for the drama “Kiss That Kills” starring Kento Yamazaki.

As Suda’s first drama theme song, it earned Gold certification and has captured the hearts of many listeners.

It’s perfect for moments when you want to reminisce with friends or a partner at karaoke.

With its modest key and simple melody, it’s easy even for first-timers to sing—so give it a try.

Eve, whose song “Kaikai Kitan,” the opening theme for the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, became a hit and gained recognition across generations.

Although Eve’s songs might seem a bit challenging to sing at karaoke, many of them are absolute crowd-pleasers.

“Dramaturgy” is one of Eve’s signature tracks and is included on the 2017 album Culture.

There’s no way this danceable, fast-paced song won’t get people hyped! The slightly quick chorus can be sung smoothly with a bit of practice!

This is a song released by GReeeeN in 2007 that is still loved by many people.

It was GReeeeN’s first love song and was featured in numerous commercials and TV programs.

Its heartrending melody is unforgettable after just one listen, and since there’s no rap part, it’s an easy song to sing.

RomanticismMrs. GREEN APPLE13rank/position

This track, themed around human emotions and love, was included in Mrs.

GREEN APPLE’s single “Romanticism,” released in October 2019.

It carries a positive message about moving on from heartbreak.

Written specifically for Shiseido’s Sea Breeze commercial, the song is notable for its chorus where the drums shift into a country-style beat.

The music video, set on the streets, also drew attention.

It’s a great pick when you want to liven up a karaoke session.

With its upbeat tempo and pleasant rhythm, the chorus in particular features a stirring melody.

If everyone joins in with call-and-response shouts while singing, it’s sure to get even more exciting.

Bitter VacationMrs. GREEN APPLE14rank/position

Bitter Vacation Mrs. GREEN APPLE

Mrs.

GREEN APPLE is a band with overwhelming support from young people.

Rather than being characterized by highly original musicality, their hallmark is an approachable sound that prioritizes catchiness, and they’ve released many hit songs to date.

However, despite their catchiness, Mrs.

GREEN APPLE’s songs tend to be extremely difficult to perform.

That’s why we recommend Bitter Vacation.

With a range of mid1 C# to hi A, it’s on the narrower side for a Mrs.

GREEN APPLE song, so you shouldn’t struggle too much in terms of vocal production.

That said, the overall key is on the higher side, so transposing is essential.

As for crowd-pleasing impact, it’s outstanding—definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
