Aimyon – Marigold [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]
Marigold Aimyon

A signature song by Aimyon, a female singer popular especially among young people.

The melody and rhythm are easy to grasp, making it an easy song to sing.

While there aren’t many large pitch changes, it requires strong vocal power, so it’s recommended for those who can project well.

It may sound light, but it’s actually a belting-style song—so sing it with all your energy.

LiSA “Homura” -MUSIC CLIP-
Homura LiSA

Homura, which was chosen as the theme song for the hugely popular anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is now one of LiSA’s signature songs.

Gurenge, also used in Demon Slayer, has a fast tempo and is quite difficult, but compared to that, Homura is much easier to sing.

It has a relaxed tempo and many of the notes are on the lower side, so it won’t strain your throat.

The chorus does go a bit higher in places, but if you can’t reach those notes in chest voice, it’s perfectly fine to switch to falsetto there!

MiracleGReeeeN24rank/position

GReeeeN’s “Kiseki,” which became a huge hit as the theme song for the drama ROOKIES, is a classic that sings about cherishing the encounter with someone you love.

With down-to-earth lyrics, it’s a song that junior high school students can easily relate to! The rhythm is simple overall, so it’s recommended for those who aren’t confident in their sense of rhythm.

There’s a bit of rap in the latter half, but since it mostly repeats the same rhythmic pattern, it should be easy to memorize! If you’re worried, you can sing it together with friends!

AzaleaKenshi Yonezu25rank/position

Kenshi Yonezu’s new song “Azalea.” While Yonezu’s works often span wide vocal ranges due to his broad musicality, this track is comparatively contained within a narrower range.

It maintains a consistently downbeat feel throughout, with no abrupt pitch jumps from the verse to the chorus.

However, there is one spot in the final chorus that uses falsetto, so watch out for that.

Aside from that, there are no tricky sections, making it an easy song to sing.

Consider adding it to your repertoire.

WANIMA – Together (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
Together with WANIMA

WANIMA is a three-piece band from Kumamoto! When it comes to their signature songs, it’s got to be this one.

The lyrics are uplifting, and combined with the pop melody, it’s the number one song to boost your spirits.

If someone picks it at karaoke, everyone will belt it out together.

astronomical observationBUMP OF CHICKEN27rank/position

This was BUMP OF CHICKEN’s second single, released in March 2001.

Considering the release year, for junior high schoolers it’s a song that came out before you were born! Maybe your mom and dad loved this track when they were young.

Even so, it doesn’t feel dated at all—it’s a super cool guitar rock tune.

If you sing it stylishly at family karaoke and score high, your parents might be thrilled.

As a song, there aren’t any particularly difficult parts to sing, so give it a try and perform it coolly!

Back Number – Hanako-san on a High Pedestal
Hanako, the unattainable flower by back number

Back number is a band that enjoys immense popularity, especially among young people.

Takane no Hanako-san is one of their signature songs.

Its songwriting is fairly orthodox, so even those who don’t know it should still be able to enjoy it.

There are parts that use falsetto, which is nice for those who can hit those notes.

Some of the pitches are a bit high, which might actually make it easier for middle schoolers to sing.
